I love the Classic Universal ones, Frankenstein and Wolfman come to mind, the New amityville Horror was really good, I think better then the original, but to see something really scary, watch Showgirls!

'Hallowe'en' is top of my list without a doubt. The rest I'll have to think about for a while more.

Dead Alive

Final Destination 2

Actually, that's it. I'm not much of a horror fan, especially modern horror movies. I have American Werewolf in Paris, but though it has its gruesome bits, it just lacks that real horror feel. At least FD 2 captures that, and coupled with some really gruesome deaths it's good. (FD 1 sucked, IMO.) And Dead Alive... well, it's beyond horror. It's got to be the goriest movie I've every seen.

Is White Noise considered horror? That one was pretty good. It actually gave me the willies, which is hard to do. :assimilated:

Final Destination 2

Yes, I would have that one on my list too.

Though not horror, the only movies that truly creeped me out ever was

Event Horizon (though that is not a horror as far as I know) and Final Destination 2

Horror movies just really do not bug me much at all. *shrug* Even as a kid, just never bugged me.

My list would contain (sorry if it is more than 10, I like so many of these!!!!)

Nightmare on Elm Street series

several of the Halloween ones

Final Destination 2

Mary Shelley's Frankenstein

Mary Reilly

The Ring (but mainly so I can prank whoever is watching the film with us, LOL. Yes I admit as soon as the film was over I hid around the corner and called my sister's cell phone. She was in the living room.)

13 Ghosts

House on Haunted Hill

THe Shining

Pet Cemetary

Misery

The Dark Half

THe Birds

The Exorcist

Hide and Seek

The Village

Sleepy Hollow

and most definately HAS to be on my Halloween list!!! THE GRUDGE. I am thinking about getting the original Japanese version with the subtitles.

Then cartoon wise, can't ever forget: the Charlie Brown and Garfield Halloween specials. And many children's movies that my siblings and I were all so fond of

Oh, and the most important thing to add.... VH1 plays it for the holiday....

Rocky Horror Picture Show!!!!
