Planet of the Apes

After Trek and Star Wars, Planet of the Apes is my third all time favorite Sci-fi movie/TV series. I like them all, but my favorites are the first three.

 

"Planet of the Apes" had a great story

"Beneath the Planet of the Apes" had a surprise ending that I didn't see coming

"Escape from the Planet of the Apes" very sad ending

I absolutly love them all. I do not consider them the same type of SiFi as Star Trek. I have allways considered Star Trek something that could be. The Planet of the Apes not likely but very entertaining. :rockon:

Planet of the Apes.

 

The sequels are pretty good but I always get hung up on where in time the 3 refugee apes from the future come back to; they come back to a time before the original space mission launched.

 

Coming back to a time after the space mission launched would have avoided the paradox of the time traveling apes becoming part of the original astronaut's history. Because the apes came back to a time before the launch; their (the original astronauts) mission never would have happened because the ape revolt happens before the mission launches.

I really like all the movies, especially the first one, so I voted for that one. I love its ending, when I saw it the first time, I was like "HUH???? Oh my..." :P
