Murphy's Laws of Starship Life...

Recommended Posts

The following are a few adaptations on some Murphy's laws...

1. Critical systems always fail when they are most needed.

2. Transporters never work when you most need them.

3. If you have to ask where the nearest starship is, it's probably you---especially if you have a shipful of Cadets or you are not fully equipped yet.

4. The part you need now for your present mission won't arrive until...you guessed it...tuesday.

5. Photon Torpedoes and Phaser bursts Always have the right of way.

Don't forget the "EXPLODING CONSOLE OF DOOM".

345134[/snapback]

And isn't it usually the helm consol that blows out first?

Never Trust a Ferengi...

Red Shirts Die First (goes with LOTB's thing)

Resistance May well be futile, but it's at least worth a try.

It's the Jem'Hadar you DON'T see that gets you.

No matter how many years you've worked with some Star Fleet officers, it's still a shock to learn they have either an emotional half-brother, an illegitimate son who's a scientist, or have been secretly cloned. (But it always helps move the plot along)
