Wishfire 2 Posted July 28, 2005 (edited) I just finished watching Generations again. During the scene were Picard meets Kirk in the Nexus, Kirk is chopping firewood. He's wearing a white shirt with a unifrom-style vest over it. On the vest is an insignia pin. His uniform jacket is draped over some logs. It also has an insignia pin on it. What's up with that? Here you can see the badge on his uniform jacket, and you can sorta see it on his vest. For reference, here's Kirk with the badge on his vest. VaBeachGuy 12 Posted July 28, 2005 It could be that he would have both. If I remember correctly my Class A uniform in the Army had all of my awards and medals on the jacket as well as having the same medals on my shirt. If I took my jacket off you would still see all of my awards and ribbons.

What_username? 0 Posted July 31, 2005 It's not that strange. There's two combadges for each First Contact era uniform...one on the jacket and one on the vest underneath.
zipkirk1966 0 Posted July 31, 2005 What Vabeachguy said some uniforms have two badges on them so it's not that strange in the military. Brian
