Captain Ransom, what an awesome name! That alone deserves a 5, but it doesn't work that way. The Equinox, a Nova class ship also stuck in the Delta Quadrant, thanks to the Caretaker, only they took a different path, met different aliens, and somehow ended up in Voyager's path.

Now Voyager is saving them from the aliens from another dimension (or someplace) that the crew of the Equinox attacked first (but Voyager doesn't know that until the very end).

So this concludes the fifth season of Star Trek: Voyager. Like I said, many days ago, each season of Voyager gets better and better.

I give it a 4. It has a decent buildup, but honestly...how could they have NOT encountered the Kazon? Either way, a good episode. I personally like the touch when the evil Doctor very casually swats the good Doctor's mobile emitter as he explains how the ethical subroutines were deleted. Very nice touch.
