Unusually for a two-parter this episode was a little dull as it all involved a hunt for a sacred Vulcan weapon. Not much to say really. Pretty disappointing episode with the only redeeming feature of seeing Data in full command of the Enterprise.

5. What this half had that I loved was the two-bit thug who tried to push around the Federation, only to have his past catch up with him... both the actor who did that guy and Frakes who interacted with him. Picard becoming Galen was cool. This really was a good two-parter.
