Terrible episode.

Billy Campbell is a likable guy but this character "Okona" was a total rip-off of Han Solo and NO ONE can match up to that dude (well, except maybe 007, Indiana Jones and myself of course).

The way they expected us to believe he could seduce Teri Hatcher in about six seconds was laughable, and the story itself about the "family feud" was boring and pointless.

As for the sub plot of Data trying to learn what is funny, well the less said about that the better.

^^ i tend to disagree, I thought Data trying to learn about Comedy was very touching.

The sub story with the rogue that couldnt keep his ......well, you know, thing in his pants.

Pure dopey

I give it a 4. The only thing I didn't like was how cookie-cutter it all came out. Good story, good acting, and even the subplot worked because it stemmed from the original story. Somehow though, the final product just didn't come out to the sum of its parts. Still a fetching episode, though.
