Before the Andorian and Tellarite peace negotiations can begin, a ship that appears to be a Tellarite ship attacks an Andorian ship, putting the two at ends with each other. Shran helps Enterprise get to the bottom of this mystery

 

Action filled episode that has is just leading more and more towards the Federation being born. It's good to see some Romulans show up.

It would have been interesting to see how the Romulan War start without seeing each other first.

Gave it a 4. I think I'm just fed up with the arcs and such at this point, and that brought the episode down. Otherwise, not much to not like. Though Shran doesn't acknowledge it in the episode, Archer repays one of the favors by rescuing him and 18 others of the Andorian crew (though imo, Shran owes Trip for warning the Andorians of the Vulcans)

 

Tellarites were cool. So were Trip and Reed in the ship. The Romulans themselves phoned it in, imo.
