Two aliens take over different members of the crew to observe how the Enterprise and humans react to a deadly disease

An interesting episode that reminds me a lot of TNG. We learn a little about Hoshi and Trip.

****1/2 out of *****

5. I loved how they managed to get EVERY main character actively a part of this episode, and how they kept coming back to Mayweather and Reed, who were least likely in this instance to be a part of it. Good involvement with Hoshi, who like Travis, seems to end up a part of the furniture in a lot of Enterprise episodes. One of the best episodes that I've seen in awhile....and like Daedalus, one of the BEST things about this episode is its independence... it's NOT part of some mini-series arc. Refreshing for a change, especially since Babel one starts another arc, from the looks of it. The big downside is that the aliens turned out to be Organians, who I thought totally sucked in that episode of TOS they were in.

I give it a 2 and that's being kind.

Now I realize why there are all these 2 and 3 part stories on the 4th season of Enterprise, because the stand alone ones aren't any good.
