Stephen of Borg 2 Posted July 15, 2005 A Shore Leave to Risa is stopped when the crew has to transport a Vulcan Ambassador to a near by ship. The title refers to how the Ambassador is a hero to T’Pol, inspiring her to go into the career field that she chose. On the way to taking the Ambassador to the ship, they are attacked by aliens who are willing to kill themselves to kidnapped and assassinate the Ambassador. Another great episode. **** ½ out of *****

youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted June 2, 2007 (edited) I also give it a 5. Flanagan's acting was phenomenal. You could really get into her portrayal of a recalled diplomat who tries to pass the time by indulging her fascination with humans, by employing their customs and even trying to use humor. An interplanetary crisis. Terrific acting, good writing, and nice job of pushing the warp engines, than twisting it to failure. Phlox did a good job with what little time he was given. Nice job overall. Only thing it could have used was a topper at the very ending, where after she mentions the sensing of a friendship bond, if Trip would have said, "Was V'lar attempting humor again?" and leave on that note, that would have sent me out laughing.
