youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted March 22, 2007 (edited) Giving this one a 5. Favorite line: "Captain, I was convinced in the same manner you were.... the good doctor's hypo." I loved how all the Vians said all three showed willingness to sacrifice themselves, but Spock didn't get much of a chance to exhibit it, as McCoy knocked him out. Great job from Kelley. Very enjoyable episode. Slight downside that the Vians needed a kick in their complacency to do something. EDIT: I forgot mention that for what little there was, Sulu and Scotty had a great exchange as well. Edited March 22, 2007 by youbroughtheryouRiker

Kor37 9 Posted March 22, 2007 A really good job done with a limited budget. This was one of those episodes where they ran out of money and were really limited as to what they could shoot. The superb acting is what carries this episode, especially by Kelley.
GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted September 22, 2007 I gave it a 2. The entire a ep, a story about a so sensitive she's mute alien girl that must prove her worth to save her planet is boring. The Vians that conduct the experiment are second rate Talosians and this ep was obviously filmed on a black background soundstage in order to save money. GhostofMajorHayes 10 Posted September 22, 2007 (edited) I will give the ep the credit it deserves though, it demonstrated the immense loyalty that exists between Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. Edited September 22, 2007 by GhostofMajorHayes
DaboGirl 7 Posted July 28, 2008 I gave it a 3. I deducted one star for Kirk's slow motion run on the planet's surface.
