Jack_Bauer 1 Posted April 5, 2005 Hey everybody, just wanted to wish you all a happy first contact day. 58 years from today (in the Star Trek Universe), Zefram Cochrane will make contact with the Vulcans. Hmm..with today being a Tuesday, it would have been the perfect day to release The Special Edition of First Contact. Oh well. There's a small article over at Startrek.com if you want to check it out. Just as an aside does anyone know who is the youngest member of Startrekfans.net? For that matter, who is the oldest? I think some research is needed. HRH The KING 0 Posted April 5, 2005 The youngest member I've seen on this site is Angel Of Darkness who's 14 or 15 or something. The oldest I've seen are Alterego and Spacetigger. It's hard to tell about age because people don't always enter the right date of birth, like Takara Soong, who apparently was only born in 2002, but her photo suggests otherwise. My grandmother is 90 and chased the EMTs off her porch with a broom the other day! They showed up at her door when she bumped her emergency call button by mistake! I remember that I will be 81 when Halley's comes back through, which means 2061. Because the comet has a 76 year orbit and last came through in 1985-1986. As for the youngest members, there may be a couple that are younger than 14.. and for the oldest I am not sure. There was an old poll about age groups here, as far as I know. Unless someone wants to start a new one just for kicks. In my case, my age is no big secret.. as part of my sig is counting down the days left until I am a quarter of a century old. My mom and I get quite a kick out of that fact... this year I turn 1/4th a century old while she turns 1/2 a century old. :P Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
