Jack_Bauer 1 Posted March 5, 2005 Alright, we all know that Madge Sinclair played the first female starship captain in Star Trek history when she was Captain of the Saratoga. What I'm wondering, was she also the first Africian-American captain? The ST Encyclopedia mentions in Janeway's section that Sinclair was first but there is nothing similar in Sisko's. I haven't seen all the original series eps so I can't be sure. I remember there being an African-American Commodore in one episode but never an actual captain. Can anyone elaborate? the_ocompa 0 Posted March 6, 2005 I think there had to have been a bunch of all race captains, cause the UFP had over 200 planets at that time.
