Thought you might be interested in seeing what the brace looks like that I have to use for the Cubital Tunnel Syndrome.

 

In this picture the man has his arm bent but mine is set to only allow my arm to bend half that much.

good luck vbg. that brace is pretty crazy. it looks so complicated for something like carpul tunnel syndrome. but, ive never had it so i dont know how bad it is. does it hurt?

The sound file does date you a little VBG. I think if you asked most of our younger members who Steve Austin is and they will answer he's the wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin rather than the Six Million Dollar Man.

THat brace is actually for the Cubital Tunnel Syndrome (that's for a nerve in my elbow).

It has become a full time sensation, as stated above even 4 days with out touching a keyboard brought NO relief.

I keep seeing these braces and thinkinmg their pretty scary. Myself, i have been in a crappy little wrist splint with nothing to supprt my elbow even though I told my doctor that it hurts too.So a ill fitting wrist splint and a sling is all I have for my injury, well until I get transferred to an orthopedic specialist and get my long awaited and begged for MRI(I was injured 3 weeks ago!). My arm hurts no matter what, but,without the brace my wrist spasms really bad, and my index finger begins involuntarily wagging. I would say twitching but, now it waggles violently up and down, causing my arm to hurt even worse(this lasted for a minute or two today, and more than once!). Why don't the doctors see a problem?(Even though they are now finally being concerned with nerve damage, and my mom wonders if in fact it is a spiral fracture and the swelling caused it to be unnoticed)

Well I go to the nurologist again today (15th). I'm fighting my workers comp, they don't want to pay me for something they know is work related. They won't even let me come back to work at all with it. The whole thing is just totally screwed up I'll end up taking them to court over it.

Sorry to hear about the Cubital/Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I hope that your surgery goes without a hitch, and I also hope that what you believe is nerve damage in your neck turns out to be much less serious. My best wished to you VBG!

hey man sorry to hear about the comp. i know how they can be, they sure gave me a good screwin with my hand. i hope it all works out for the best for ya. but first and foremost, i hope you get better soon.
