Sarah 0 Posted May 20, 2003 ok so I was board one night and heard the song PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN and I started singing it in terms of trek a friend was with me and said it was pretty good for me making it up as I go. he wrote it down and I thought I would share it with you all.........its not perfect but it was fun when I made it ............ " If tomorrow all the treks I watched were gone from my life and I had to start all over with the other shows in my life I think that I would burst into tears today cause without startrek in my life every thing else is in the way.... And I am proud to be a trekker or trekkie or whatever you want to call me And I wont forget Gene Rodenberry who set that path for me And I'd gladly stand up next to you and proclaim it still today That there aint no doubt I love all trek I'm a trekkie to this day!!!!! From the lakes of Betazed to the hills of the Vulcan world Across the plains of Romulas from Kronos to ferenginar From the Delta down to the Beta and Gamma to Alpha Quadrant Well, there's pride in every Trekkers Heart and it's time to stand and say; I'm proud to be a trekker or trekkie or what ever you want to call me I wont forget Gene Rodenberry who set that path for me I'd gladly stand up next to you and proclaim it still to day there aint no doubt I love all trek I'm a trekkie to this day!!!!
