For me, I had to go with Weyoun clone number six...I cried on that episode since I love Weyoun so much and I thought it was touching how he sacrificed himself to save his Founder's life...

Ah, the creativity of the polls on stfans.net. Good job.

I said the one in Treachery Faith and the Great River because of the emotional impact it had on Wayoun and Odo. Wayoun got the satisfaction he deserved, and Odo was finally able to understand why the Vortas treat him the way they do.

Treachery, Faith and the Great River is one of my favorite episodes and I always include it whenever I do a "Nog-a-thon". Some of the dialog between Weyoun and Odo in the Runabout is great stuff and you have to love a Vorta that eats pepperoni pizza and likes the "interesting textures" lol

The death that mad me laugh and watch a few times in a row was Weyoun VII, when Worf grabed him and he just fell limp I about rolled. That is a classic Worf moment.

Weyoun VIII's death was pretty good too though, when the shapeshifter said "I wish you hadn't done that" I had to laugh then too lol.

One thing about it though is they need to figure out how to make Weyoun IX for the movies. A DS9 movie without Weyoun would just be wrong.

You said it, VBG. Without Weyoun, a DS9 movie or series would just be WRONG.

I voted for Weyoun 6's death in this poll because the question was most "thought-provoking." Worf killing Weyoun VII was just funny all around. I loved Damar to Weyoun 8: Maybe you should talk to Commander Worf." LOL.

I haven't seen a couple of those. I only have seen the Weyoun's death in the last episode, and the episode where the Jem'hadar killed him. I chose 'To the Death' because between those two episodes, the first was more thought-provoking.

It was not expected that the Jem'Hadar would kill a Vorta! Since I have seasons 4, 5 & 6 of DS9, I have seen the episode where Sisko, Dax, Garrack, Nog,Bashir, and others were trapped on a planet where the Vorta was injured, and the 'white' was running out. That Vorta set a trap to kill all his Jem'Hadar soldiers. They knew it and obeyed the Vorta anyway. If I could remember one of those lines the Jem'Hadar quoted when they are about to sacrifice themselves, I would. But the commanding Jem'Hadar said it to Sisiko, after Sisko told him the Vorta had sent them to die.

In To The Death, if I have not mixed this up with another episode, Sisko and company were working with Weyoun, and the Jem'Hadar soldiers, to track down a group of renegade Jem'Hadar who had advanced transporter technology under their control. The first killed Weyoun in the end for questioning their loyalty. The Jem'hadar leader was also apt to quote weird phrases about self-sacrifice, just like the one mentioned above. O'Brien mocked their little ritual (out of earshot of course.)

It is intriguing to me why one group was willing to die for a dishonest Vorta who they knew had actually betrayed them, and the other group killed Weyoun, who did nothing to them (beyond what they normally do --sending them to kill the enemy) except question their loyalty.

I don't get it.

Couldn't decide on which one of them so i put for all of the Multipile Weyoun's Deaths but the one in the Runabout where he sacrificed himself for the Founder was a Noble thing to do.

:)  :)

Weyoun... hmm... I love him as a great character and he plays his role really well but I hate him as a villian. He is a very "good" villian though. I voted for all deaths since he gets to live again to die another day. :)

I quite agree. Altough it makes me wonder in what ways the first Weyouns died before the contact between the Gamma and the Alpha Quadrants

Hmm...Here's how I think the first three Weyouns died...

First Weyoun was probably on the Jem'Hadar attack ship that destroyed the Odyssey...

Second Weyoun was probably on the Jem'Hadar attack ship that went down in "The Ship" where the lovely Kilana tried to salvage the dying Changeling that Weyoun was escorting...

Third Weyoun (Fell off my bed and broke his head, 'cause we got a little crazy, no j/k)...for reals, though...I think maybe he died by the defecting Jem'Hadar on that planet in "Hyppocratic Oath"...

(Ok, so the timing is way off, but whatever)

Interesting theories. But it makes me wonder, what is the normal life-expectancy of a Vorta if they are not killed nor terminated?

I wonder how many years the Weyouns have lived togehter :frusty: <-- why the hell isnt there any Vorta smileys

I Think You May Need To Rethink Those B)

"To The Death" Is Towards The End Of Season 4. "Hippocratic Oath" Was Just After The Begining Of Season 4 And "The Ship" Was In Season 5.

Ok, I'll Shutup Now. B)

I loved 7's death. Worf just up and broke his spine. 6's was good too. He was nice and his death was sad.

Interesting fact, the whole concept of cloning Vorta was designed to allow Weyoun to return after being vaporized in To The Death.
