Ace 0 Posted July 25, 2004 So,,, whaddya drive? I'm bored, and a car nut, so I thought I'd ask. :) Put up a pic if you can (let me know if you want to but don't know how), or just tell what it is. It doesn't matter how old/new/cool/weird/falling-apart it is . Every vehicle has its good and bad points. If you don't drive, feel free to say you walk,,, or take a pic of a bus/bike/whatever you ride in, etc. Just tell us what your 'mode of transportation' is if ya want. :)
Ace 0 Posted July 25, 2004 I guess I should start. 04 Dodge Intrepid - had it since February. :) My Ford truck takes over 12 seconds just to get to 55, so I'm happy to be in a V-6 car again .
RikerChick 5 Posted July 25, 2004 A 1980 Chevy Impala. *waits for the laughter to die down* Yes it's old and ugly and the window won't roll down, but it's paid off. It may be a piece of crap but it's my piece of crap! I'm not going back out in that stink to take a pic, but it looks like this pic and the color is the color of this text. BlueCrystal 0 Posted July 25, 2004 (edited) Well all I can say is Good for you RikerChick for knowing the value of $$ and not wasting it on something like a car. For years I drove a 1973 Dodge Dart that I joking said my sons by marriage were conceived in and born in but the truth is it was Daniel Jr.'s first car and he gave it to me upon buying a new truck. I also drove around in a old Dodge pickup truck. Edited July 25, 2004 by BlueCrystal

jefffitz 0 Posted July 27, 2004 My Mazda got smashed by a guy who ran a red light, I can't decide whether to christen my new car the NX-02 or the Enterprise -A. I'm leaning towards 1701-A because I got my old car car before Enterprise came on the air. But I keep in mind the words of my best friend and mechanic (a DS9 fan) who said my car most resembled a Ferengi Garbage Scow. "It's amazing you get anywhere, so be happy that you end up somewhere." I thought the whole point of the hybrid concept was to get better mileage and be kinder to the environment. the Chevy truck that you've pointed out has such poor mileage that I don't see why anyone who want to buy it, as a hybrid. I understand that the Honda civic hybrid also gets good mileage
