Fave Trek Laughs...

Recommended Posts

Ok everyone, I need some chuckles right now! :spock:

Think back... there are moments in star trek history that have made me totally crack up... what is the funniest trek moment you can think of? Situation, quote, etc.... fill us in so that we can share the fun! Here are a few of my personal faves to get the ball rolling:

TNG: In "Conundrum", when everyone gets amnesia, and when they come to Data happens to be behind the bar, so everyone thinks he's the bartender!

*which reminds me... "It is.... green."

DS9: In "Little Green Men", when Nog in researching Earth history, and finds the Bell riots, and says: "Hey, this guy looks just like Commander Sisko!" (Remember, "Future Tense"?) Hee hee I laughed so hard, a clever little thing they slipped in there.

Ok, everyone... have at it and have fun. :flex:

It's good to be back! :(

There are some great one's...

One of my favs is Voyager after he tried to help her thru the Ponfarr

He told her, her Klingon side wasn't so scary and he might like to see

it again sometime and she replied "Be careful Lieutenant, you might get

what you asked for......

and....TNG Nth Degree

when Riker wanted to know if Barklay suceeded when he made a pass

at Troi..."A good one"

That was fun.... :(

I forget the episode title but in it a pretty woman wraps this flowery thing around Spocks wrist, McCoy then asks him how that makes him feel to which Spock replies all deadpan as possible:

:( "It makes me feel uncomfortable."

:spock:

I forgot the eppisode, it's the one where Riker has the nuero virus. he is cured by Dr. Pulaski and Deanna. the following conversation is hilarious (and mods, if you could insert it in my sig for me since, while it has less than the max charactors, it won't go)

Picard: Good, you're awake. Do you remember who you are?

Riker: Of course I do. I am Captain Jean Luc Picard of the Enterprise.

Picard: Good. the Admiral and I were worried.

Data: I do not believe you have the authority to promote me to Admiral, sir.

That was a great episode....the end when Ro and Troi are sitting together

in Ten Forward and Riker comes...that scene is priceless...lol

Data- Captain, I think I finally understand love. Here sir, it is a valentine for you.

Picard- Good lord Data, its a human heart!

Data- Yes sir, but it's dipped in chocolate.

Picard- Oh Mr. Data, you've got alot to learn.

Worf- To a klingon warrior, beheadings are romantic.

Worf- I must vanquish all who appose me.

Picard- But Worf, old women and children...

Worf- The weak and cowerdly have no place in shuffleboard.

Picard- Worf, let the passengers win.

Worf- Ohhh all right!

:( The best ST spoof yet

I love the "It is... it is... it is green" comment by Data. :(

Worf (Qpid): "I am not a merry man.", then trashing Geordi's violin.

Q to Worf (Q Who?): Ah, it's microbrain. Growl for me; let me know you still care."

Spock: "...I'm reciving a number of distress calls."

McCoy: "I don't doubt it."

Data's smile while dancing in "Data's Day".

Q (Tapestry): "...flowers for Jon Luck Pickerd."

Kirk's Hitler comment at the dinner table in ST6.

Chekhov: "Guess who's coming to dinner."

Scotty's look towards Worf in the shuttlebay in "Relics".

Rom: "___th Rule of Acquisition: New customers are like razor-toothed greeworms. They can be suculent, but sometimes they bite back!"

...and the list goes on...

Watched "Booby Trap" again today. (forgot the exact quote)

Picard: "Did no one else play with model ships as a boy?!?!"

Worf: "I did not play with toys."

Data: "I was never a boy."

The episode Data is exploring romance;

Picard: Mr. Data I understand you are looking for advice on understanding women

Data: Yes, Sir

Picard: Well, as soon as I have some I will be glad to share it with you.

Spock to man in line: Pardon me sir but there is a large multi-legged creature on your shoulder.

Trips description of Reed's "alarm" choices: "They both sound like a bag of cats"

Spock: I may have been mistaken

McCoy: At least I lived long enough to hear that

K'Ehlyer to Worf: "no bite on the cheek for old time's sake"

DS9 episode with highlights on Klingon mating. Dax and Worf go to sick bay each injured:

Bashir: "can you tell me what happened?" "Wait, never mind, that's not a picture I want in my mind"

The scenes with Lwaxanna Troi and Picard were always funny. The one where she reads his mind (if that was what he was really thinking) and says something like "Jean-Luc, what naughty thoughts.." and then beams away...

I can't recall the title of the episode but it was when Captain Picard was kidnapped and was forced to analyse the relics under another identity and Riker pretended to join them, you're all Star Trek fans you can figure out which one I'm talking about. Anyway at the end of the episode Picard can't give orders because he's been declared dead and Riker was declared a traitor, Jean-Luc tells Data he ought to escort Riker to the Brig and goes into his quarters, as Data does so Riker says "Data you know he was joking right? Data? Right?" Data dead pan continues to escort him.
