None. See how you've corrupted me.

You sure of that? You positive?

Never heard "Warp Speed" or "Beam Me Up Scotty" before watching Star Trek?

Never heard "Warp Speed" or "Beam Me Up Scotty" before watching Star Trek?

I've heard them but never related them to anything.

Risking getting kicked off this board permanently....I once again proclaim, "Star Trek does not rule TV! It does not rule the world! It is NOT REAL!"

Resistance is futile Amy, Star Trek rules all :borg:

OH, no! Not you, too!

Actually I like Star Wars best, so Star Wars rules all.

Now I'm gonna get kicked off the board too :P

I'm not a Star Wars fan either, but I'll agree to anything that gets Trek booted from the #1 slot. LONG LIVE HAN SOLO!!!

You knew Trekism's before you ever saw a single episode. Multiple other shows quote or talk about Trek. Trek has more than 700 hours worth of TV episodes and 10 (soon to be 11) feature length movies and a cartoon series. You've personally watched TOS, TNG and I believe but am not sure DS9 episodes. Have you watched any Voyager and Enterprise? I also believe if I remember correctly that you watched at least the first 7 Trek movies if not all 10 that are on DVD, but you can correct me if I'm mistaken on that.

As for Star Wars, I'm a big fan too but no way can anyone claim that Star Wars rules all TV so that's apples and oranges. (BTW Amy, you've watched at least 3 of the Star Wars movies haven't you?)

Yes, unfortunately for me. I have wasted my time watching the above mentioned shows/movies in an effort to have something to talk to you about. See how well that worked out for me? Now I can't get you to stop! LOL.....I can almost hear you laughing at me from VA.

Yeah, I had to laugh when I saw that because I knew Amy would end up seeing it and realizing that Trek really does rule all of TV.

 It does not!

From another of Amy's favorite shows...

:sweatdrop:

Since you have a DVD burner then your computer will play them on your monitor.

I thought you had a player though? How did you watch all those Survivor DVD's I sent?

I have a player in the living room, but I want one in my bedroom so I can watch movies while I'm falling asleep. I've gotten to the point where I can't sleep if the tv isn't on and late night tv isn't that great after 2:00 am.

Well, if you can see the monitor from your bed then your computer should be able to play the DVD's with no problem.

Wow, you've finally reached the 20th century...

Click for Spoiler:

Keep up this pace and you'll reach the 21st in a couple years... :sweatdrop:

What's a Wal Mart?

A new kind of store where you can get all kinds of supplies for those 10 month winters.

Out here on the prairie we fend for ourselves. We don't need no stores.
