Jack_Bauer 1 Posted April 5, 2004 Let's see how well everyone can predict the outcomes of the first round of the NHL playoffs. Eastern Conference 1. Tampa Bay vs. 8. New York Islanders -Tampa Bay in 6 games (they've had some trouble with the Islanders recently) 2. Boston vs. 7. Montreal -Boston in 7 games (Montreal could be tough) 3. Philadelphia vs. 6. New Jersey -Philadelphia in 6 games 4. Toronto vs. 5. Ottawa -Toronto in 6 games Western Conference 1. Detroit vs. 8. Nashville -Detroit in 5 games 2. San Jose vs. 7. St Louis -San Jose in 6 games 3. Vancouver vs. 6. Calgary -Vancouver in 7 games (I think that could go either way) 4. Colorado vs. 5. Dallas -Dallas in 7 games (Colorado has not looked good recently) Finally, I would like to offer by condolences to all Oiler fans. I was really pulling for them. It would have been amazing to have all the Canadian teams in the playoffs. But they played great down the stretch, with any luck and a few more games they were in. Edmonton, be proud of your Oilers.
