  1. I normally just use the mouse-pad thingie on my laptop, but I do have a laser wireless mouse. I don't mind using the thing on my computer. Back home, I have one of those mouses that you don't move, that you just use your thumb to move the ball, and I love it. So much less energy is used. I love being lazy.

  2. I used to never miss it when it would come on and I really liked the idea of a prequel. I don't think it's all that bad like alot of people do, but I would say it's my least favorite series. I love it, since it is star trek, but it just didn't hit the spot for me, maybe in a few years, I'll watch it again and like it. That's how I was with DS9...didn't like it when I first watched it, but now I love it.

  3. I'm technically dating someone at the moment, but it's nothing serious, so I'm basically single, since you never when something better might come around. I don't plan on getting married or even engaged for a long time to come.

  4. Back home I have DSL and I just got a new laptop and it still ran slow, and now at school, I have wireless, and it's still just as slow. And myspace is the only website that is slow on this computer, everything else is blazin' fast.

I don't deny that it's great to have a way to keep in touch with people you don't get to see regularly, but myspace just makes it so hard, and that's what I liked better about facebook, especially now that basically anyone can join it.

  5. I totally understand what you are talking about Tina. I used to be huge into myspace, but then it wasn't worth it. The site takes forever to do anything. I mean I click to view someone's profile, and then walk away, eat dinner, take the dog for a walk and then I come back to see if the page is done loading, sometimes it is. And all those adds make me soo angry! I can't even focus on the actual website! I got so sick of porno girls trying to add me as a friend. I am a girl and a straight one at that! Ugh, myspace has really gone downhill. A lot of my high school buddies that were in bands used myspace as a way to get their name out there and keep everyone informed of their upcoming shows, and I loved it. But now, even the music portion of the site blows. Ugh, that's why I deleted my profile sometime ago.

Facebook, I have one. I used to use it all the time when I was a freshman in college, and it was great, but then I realized I would much rather talk to my friends in person or and even "poke" them in person. Also, so many students have been getting busted for underage drinking and criminal acts because of facebook. I used to love posting drunken pictures of myself doing stupid stuff, but now I don't know how safe it was for me to be doing that.

Eh, in general, I'm not much into computers anymore, I've done the whole online blog/website thing....It was fun for awhile, but then it got lame.

  6. "The nearest thing that I can figure is that they're born pregnant."

    I love that line!

Tribbles are so cute! I want one! I love this episode, so many great moments in it, which Trekz already mentioned. As I was reading his post, I hadn't realize that they refer to Leningrad in the 23rd century....Maybe there's some hope for the USSR making a comeback after all...
