  1. I get these in my house a lot. Especially this time of year when it gets cold. Someone told me once that they're good luck so I leave them alone B) Can't blame them really, I go inside when it gets cold too. :)

  2. I'm a LOTR fan, but I will admit I like the books more than the movies. First, because the movies did leave out some stuff I really liked, no Mouth of Sauron until special edition? LAME. Second, because despite how cool the movies were it was much cooler in my head, especially the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, :) Theoden kicks ***!!! RIDE NOW!!! RIDE NOW TO GONDOR!!! B) B) B)

  4. The three men continued down the highway towards Angola, the nearest town, to the "Big C" lumber yard. As they expected there were trucks parked there in the lot. Aaron knew how to drive a fork lift and began to load the lumber on the first of the two trucks they would drive back to the farm. Abe and able went inside the building and began helping themselves to nails, hammers, fasteners and anything else they thought they would need. After a few hours both trucks and the wagon were now loaded down and they began the drive home.

The trip back was uneventful. Nothing compared to the trip there. They pulled into the dirt road leading to the farm and parked all three vehicles in front of the barn. Everyone was in the loft, on the site. When they heard the engines and the toots of the horns they all came running outside to welcome them home.

"Ya hungry?" Becka asked Abe. "Starved." He answered. "What ya got cookin? I can smell it all the way out here." He asked. Aaron and Able were already at the kitchen door. " Beef and kidney pie." Lida answered. "With lots of gravy and biscuits."

I think Soong will end up getting killed by Malik and then Malik gets himself a little "attitude adjustment", Klingon style. If Archer doesn't kill him first. I didn't expect to see them actually kill a hostage. I think Soong is starting to think maybe these Augments ain't such nice people. If he finds out Malik murdered Rakim and then Smike, I don't think he'll be so understanding of his "children." Next week...Klingons!

  6. I didn't think I'd ever find this but what do you know. Here ya go.

    M-O-T-H-E-R

(A Word That Means The World To Me)

Lyrics by Howard Johnson and Music by Theodore Morse (1915)

Verse 1: I’ve been around the world, you bet, but never went to school.

Hard knocks are all I seem to get, perhaps I’ve been a fool.

But still, some educated folks, supposed to be so swell

Would fail, if they were called upon a simple word to spell.

Now if you’d like to put me to a test,

There’s one dear name that I can spell the best:

Chorus 1: M is for the million things she gave me,

O means only that she’s growing old,

T is for the tears were shed to save me,

H is for her heart of purest gold,

E is for her eyes with love light shining,

R means right and right she’ll always be.

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"

A word that means the world to me.

Verse 2: When I was but a baby, long before I learned to walk,

While lying in my cradle, I would try my best to talk.

It wasn’t long before I spoke, and all the neighbors heard,

My folks were very proud of me, for "mother" was the word.

Although I’ll never lay a claim to fame, I’m satisfied that I can spell the name:

Chorus 2: M is for the mercy she possesses,

O means that I owe her all I own,

T is for her tender sweet caresses,

H is for her hands that made a home,

E means everything she’s done to help me,

R means real and regular, you see,

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"

A word that means the world to me.

  7. Well I don't know about anyone else but my brain uses an Etch-A-Sketch for it's short term memory. When I roll over in my sleep, there goes my memory. Same thing also happens when I stand up too fast, sneeze, or bump my head.

Why is it the only show you've been waiting to watch all week always gets pre-empted by something lame like The World Banana Peeling Championship?

  8. It's because on the days you can sleep late it's because you have a free day( or morning at least) so your brain goes, "WEE!!! I ain't wastin' a minute of this!" On the days you can't sleep late your brain says, "Wake up? Now? Why? Well I don't want to go to work. You can if you want but I'm going back to sleep. No! Wait. I don't want to go to work! WAAAAA!!! " (At least that's what my brain told me. )

Why is it only seem to get sick on your days off. But by the time you're feeling better it's time to go back to work?
