  1. And I hated that stupid dune buggy scene.  Thank god for the DVD so I can just skip to the arrival on Romulus.  Worf's presence is the only good thing about the dune buggy scene. :)

: Yeah, I thought it was all a little 'off'. Worf was great in that scene :) "Very Estute!"

It was interesting how they essentially say 'Oh hell with prime directive. We'll just blow the crap out of those jeeps with a partical weapon."

Another thing about that scene was the digital grading for the scene. It looked like a bad Clint Eastwood movie.

  2. When we first saw the sphere ,in First Contact, it looked relativly small compared to the Enterprise. However it was still a massive ship when seen next to Voyager. I know that Voyager is about half the size of Enterprise, but the ratio of size still looks off to me. Just something that always bugged me.

  3. I'm sure I'm not the first to spot this, but when the Borg cube exploded, it took out a Federation ship as well.

Really? I'll look for that the next time I see the movie. :)

It's to the left towards the bottom of the cube.

There's another one near to the top of the cube too, I think. I'm pretty sure about that.

  4. It is hard to say. I always kind of wondered why they didn't see there was a way for them to fix the self-destruct mechanism, have the array send them home, and have the array set to self destruct after they were back home.

Because there was a Kazon battle group approaching to augment the Kazon forces already present.Voyager would not have stood a chance in that confrontation. So,Janeway opted for the only choice that made any sense. No Federation starship commander would have allowed the Kazon to acquire the Caretaker's array.Do you realize how advanced and potentially lethal some of that tech was?It could have even proven a threat to the UFP.So,it wasn't only about saving the Okampa.

I didn't remember that (I'll take your word for it). Put that could have been what ended up messing up their plans anyway. But again, I must say it's justa thought.

Come to think of it, they could have continued that at the end of 'Caretaker'. The second episode could have been about the crew trying to figure out the technology on the array, and the fued developing between the Federation and Maquis members of the crew. Just a thought.

  6. Thats another thing about Nemisis that I have thought since seeing this thread. Aside from Picard, Data, and alittle bit of Riker and Worf, almost all of the characters are ,mostly, just involved with functional scenes, like Crusher scanning Shinzon's knife or Riker leading a security team to deck 29 or Troi using her telepathic abilities to find the Reman Viceroy.

  7. Yeah, that's one problem that series' have on screen. When you have 7 years and almost 200 episodes to work with, you can always work in different characters in different ways over a single two and a half hour stretch. But when you're limited to one really long episode and your trying to emphasize certain things and characters then it's easy for a few characters to get trampled down in their roles.

  8. 'Tuvix' after Tuvok and Neelix were seperated, and Janeway is walking away from sickbay. The fear of what she had done was so powerful.

And the episdoe were Tuvok's memory was lost, and he had to become an entirly new person. It was such a beautiful episode all around.
