No I meant, they wouldn't have had time to get a repair crew onto the Defiant. The survivors were bemaed on board the Enterprise. (sorry for un-clarifications, on my behalf)

I'm in Spanish III, right now. Probably my last year.

There are no doubt elements that are the same. But the TCW episodes are quite distinct and stand on their own, and since they writers got past the puddle of puke that was season one, Enterprise has been very good.
-
I might like to see a series that goes maybe 30 years into the future after Voyager arrives home. Nothing to far ahead, but just so we could have a few new alliances and conflicts. And ofcoarse the spirit of exploration would get a touch up too. (The Next Next Generation)

Worf is greazt. I was a little confused about Worf's position on the Enterprise in Nemisis. Was he officially transfered back to the Enterprise?
-
Chocolate  . Yeah!!!!!!!

They wouldn't have had time. The ship was losing life support and within minutes the Enterprise followed the sphere through the cronometric vortex (I love Star Trek techno-babble).

I always liked Paris, before he got married(don't take it the wrong way). He was always a bit looser, before he got tied down, but he still remains my favorite.
-
Jadzia. I love her wit.
-
I would've enjoyed seeing Miles and Geordi working with Zefram.Come to think of it,was Jadzia still around at the time?I would've loved seeing her, too.i think she was already dead. cause Worf took over command of the Defiant and temporary command of DS9.
No, because Jadzia was killed when DS9 had the new uniforms(grey and black). First Contact was the first time we saw them. They were incorperated into the show afterward.

I hope I can find some place to rent the DVDs some time. My parents probably wouldn't be too trilled about some $180 for however many discs they're on. (Yeah I'm still in high school. So Bite Me!)

Stardate:213814.9WOW thats alot of stars.Im curious how they figured that out as well
Either alot of calculations, or some serious night time hours by a few hundred interns.

Commander Ericks, was it your intention with this poll/topic to mean; everyday names which have appeared in Trek or; the strange and unusual name's like Spock and Odo? My response was based on my belief you meant the latter.Well that's where the to an extent option enters into play. Really it was for any Star Trek names.

Wow
in Ten Forward
Howabout a star trek tales series each weak a different ship, a different ctew, a different time, and a different place. Each episode would be different, all of the main charicters could die, bad guies could win. With the other series you are stuck with one crew, one ship, and one time (and part of the galixy).Yeah cause who needs any of that stuff...what is it? Oh yeah character development. Dude man that is so boring
(and where the heck did this guy learn how to spell?)

I liked species 8472, and I do agree that the Borg were over used. I would have liked to see Voyager have a different major enemy than something that we had already seen.
-
I always figured that it would be part of the treaty of the Dominion War that the Dominion would be required to leave the Alpha quadrent.
-
I' m not so sure that Jadzia would have worked in so well well with it. That's when it would have become a cross-over, as opposed to having TNG stars in the movie.
-
I was watching First Contact last night, and about the where we first see the Defiant, I thought to myself 'They could have had O'Brian on the ship too. he could have beemed over with Worf, and had atleast a few lines.'
I thnk it would have been great.

Relax. When I was thinking of doing a trilogy, it was partly your idea, partly becuase of Star Wars, and partly becuase I want a VOY trilogy. Why does it matter who's idea it is? Just as long as Paramount gives us a 2nd Trek trilogy, I'll be thrilled!Excellent point. I just like to make sure that credit is given where credit is due (especially when it pertains to me  )
-
I posted an idea about a Star Trek trilogy(see here), then a not much longer (after you replied to my post) you create an entirly new thread on the tpoic.
(if i'm totally off base with this whole thing, I am really sorry)

If I were watching television one night and a DS9 mini-series came on, I would of course be surprised and happy to watch it. I do, however, believe that nothing lasts forever. And that sometimes a story has a beginning, a middle and an end. And DS9 had a lovely ending, with all loose ends cleared up. To re-open that can of worms would be a diversion of resources that would be better invested in something new with a future. The old saying 'you can't flog a dead horse' and 'let sleeping dogs lie' spring to mind.I would be more inclined to think that way about Voyager, more than DS9. DS9 left it's fans with something to wonder, and characters separated (plus, I nefver did really like the finale). Voyager, ended the basic arc of the story, which was getting home. They did so, and if I'm right have all separated. There aren't any questions left to be answered, or atleast not more than DS9 left, and I want to see Sisko come back.

'Tuvix' after Tuvok and Neelix were seperated, and Janeway is walking away from sickbay. The fear of what she had done was so powerful. And the episdoe were Tuvok's memory was lost, and he had to become an entirly new person. It was such a beautiful episode all around.
Hi there
I agree, the expression on Janeway's face was one of anger and fear. She had to make such a difficult decision to separate Neelix and Tuvok, when there was clearly no right or wrong answer. She knew her decision was ethically questionable and extremely contraversial but she also wanted to get her friends back too. Tuvix had every right to question her decision aswell because he had become an individual and to separate Neelix and Tuvok would be killing him in the process. I thought Janeway made the right decision but I wonder if she felt as if she had made the wrong choice? I guess in those circumstances, a decision had to be made, regardless of the consequences.
The episode when Tuvok lost his memory was great too. I loved the last scene when he told Neelix that the man stranded on that planet also survived because he 'ate the Sundays' (remember Neelix told Tuvok that riddle about a guy stuck on a planet for a whole year and he only had a calender - something like that and he ate the 'dates' to survive?) Then Neelix said 'That wouldn't be very logical now would it' and Tuvok said 'No, it would not' or something similar to this. That was a great moment. I bet Neelix was really pleased with himself too because he finally got Tuvok to laugh!!
Linda
I definitly agree on both. Probably 2 of my favorite episodes right there. I'd forgotten about 'the sundays' bit. I thought it was a little corny when I first saw it, but thinking about it now, it gives me sucha nostalgic feeling. It's kind of hard to believe.

I liked Barkley's bit in there. But I would have loved to see cheif O'Brien, working with Geordi again.
