I don't think he was promoted because there was no position for him to be promoted to.... the only person who ever got promoted was tom paris (mabe the doctorbut that doesn't count) and tome paris got demoted later~

I tend to think that they simply are lined with gravitons that kind of "give off" the neccesary amount of gravity

I like t.v. cause I see things that I might not want to go out and buy but are still funny to see invader Zim for instance!

also movie channels are great fun, I enjoy watching a movie once or twice but if I paid for the DVD of all the cable T.V. movies Ive seen that would pay for years of cable... and the movie channels have no commercials....

if you had read the whole thing you would know that what he had shown to lily was an airlock but we were disscussing what the normal windows were made up of

I think it would look like a giant voy-era combadge

you wouldnt have to park because they would trasport you to a giant central lobby and your car to a giant storage structure then you would register at a front desk and they would transport you to a room that would be lit by a single blue ambiant lighsource and a chair would fold up from the store then once you sit down a hologrphic "keyboard" would appear and then the wall would be a giant interface for the website!

maby it was transparent aluminun in TOS beacause I specically remember some one saying that the windows were transparent aluminun

PS: I believe transparent aluminum would shatter like glass when exposed to the super cold temps in the vaccuom of space
