It certainly would open up the galaxy in an unprecedented way-and allow Fleet to return to the dq.

I have seasons 2 and three-my favorites. The rest would get costly, but there are definitely to me good ones in 4-7. The Kazon I am not as big on as other species, but have used them-Jabin and Culluh-in my stories.

Way ta go, ego! Hope ya liked my opinion on that 'lil scene. Hmm...star trek rap...never thought about that! Not into it,but hey-it's a big tent we all play under, right? By all means, put up some more captions from the next flick. May want to toss in my two cents again.

As being set prior to the first st, sure-it's a prequel, as much as in its way the last three Star Wars films were prequels to the adventures of Luke and co. It has a decidedly greater focus, naturally, on the primary TOS characters, than the Skywalker-Kenobi focus of PM and its followers.

My thought, is that the helmets may serve as both a protective measure-i.e., the harsh external environment-and I assume Klingons are froma predominantly warm planet?..I do make out what look like a ridged element in the design..shrug. At any rate, they look cool. And in such a place, a cold, faceless group of guards, would only heighten the psychological effect on a prisoner of a harsh locale..where NOONE matters....

When do you imagine, that the once-failed 'Great Experiment ' will be the primary means of propulsion for Starfleet? A century after the last film?Longer? Sooner?......

Not sure that she is so related-but seeing this thread brings to mind a 'family connection' of sorts I have in mind to develop as a story idea-and was considering putting up at this site. Therein, young Spock's decision to join Starfleet is shown-as well as a trip to see a retired Ambassador T'Pol on Vulcan, who (my storyline)was Sarek's mentor, and who recommended him to the post he served so well in for so long. Spock seeks a sponsor-certainly, Dad won't be it-and, despite some initial uncertainties-the obvious friendship with Sarek-she agrees;T'Pol has served in Starfleet, and knows the benefits, for both humans, and said Vulcan candidate, in such an association. And she understands his struggles, in the midst of 'rampant emotions'..yet, the growth that can come.

Thanks, Damar. Appreciate the appreciation for that certain Ocampa. And killing Janeway inthe books-uh-uh! That is never going to happen with me.
-
....Or a Breen colony.
-
I will further comment this-'Plain, simple Garak' was a nice addition to the series-not to take away fro any of the others. I loved his relationship with Julian-poor guy, always trying to plumb his depths-which, at times, was about as easy as getting a Breen to work for the peace corp. ''The Wire'' always sticks out in my mind as a strong one..and ''In the Pale Moonlight''... pity he and Damar couldn't have worked together later.

I got one acronym-and three words...TNG?-COUNT ME IN!! I am there, people. THANKS for the info!! Now, just give me a Voyager cast reunion next, and i'm golden.

For sharing in the exploration of space-the Enterprise. Maybe i'd even get to sit in Ten-Forward, and have a cup of Joe with Will and Geordi, make friends with an accepting, open person like Data....but DS9 would be more secure, in some respects. Heck, I might get the Chief to let me join he and Julian-at least once-waging the Battle of Brittain, or slugging it out at the Alamo....and catch Odo do his morph thing once in a while!

It was too bad to see Damar die-particluarly when he'd turned a corner, philosophically. It would be neat, to have him playing a role in rebuilding Cardassia, physically, and culturally, towards a rapproacment with the Federation, which, I suspect, as our country did after WW2, would look to both the suffering innocents there-and the promise of an eventual partnership, oneday. But, Damar's death did come like a classic hero-who-sacrifices.

I am rather leaning towards the Flyer-I am a Voyager fan, so..but, as VB said, a runabout's roomier. I could use the extra space to pin up my trek posters! Heh. The former would do better in a firefight.

Well, Steven, looks like your wishes may have come true-and I bet you know what I am referring to! Lana now is imbued with-oh, what if you somehow DIDN'T see the last ep-well, anyway....definite changes!

Just another thought...when Jean-Luc and co. first encountered the Borg, they were a complete mystery(discounting the Hansens' research, which never reached UFP ears) ...and it's a logical thing, in that, as a mystery, the Collective was by that nature more terrifying, and intimidating-not to negate their power at all-but, this deficit of understanding always invites fear, and extreme wariness-the former of which the Borg engender so well. With every encounter-and, yes, through Seven's insider knowledge, the Collective went from this supremely powerful enigma from farspace, to an enemy, that, while no less dangerous, particularly for a single starship, had a different face, of a sort. Anyway...something to ponder.

Perhaps, if the Federation were to have come en masse into their 'soverign space', then, Wolf 359 would be a blip on a sensor screen! This is an occaision when not having a superior ftl technology saved the two quadrants-literally-i.e.,transwarp-not that Kathryn and co. didn't try to obtain same from the Collective. Thank goodness all that territory stands between the UFP and the Borg...out of sight, out of mind...more or less. But, eventually, the brilliant minds in R and D-or one of those often even-more clever Chifs out there in the Fleet, is going to unlock the secrets of tw, or even slipstream....and after Voyager, the temptation-Borg or not-the human(oid) need to 'boldly go', will see new ships going there....

To quote a villain from the old 'Batman' series....EGG-ZACTLY!!! Lucky for all concerned they didn't. Eh, they prbably 'collectively' -ouch-decided, ' hey, if we assimilate the Federation, we'll have to get somebody else to mess with' Heh.I have had the very same thought as Vgrbabe stated, any number of times in my ponderings of things Trek.
