makes me think, "Dunmer." (I've been playing a lot of Morrowind, lately. Now there's a game that would make an awesome MMORPG.)

I didn't know who that was other that some type of cool looking elf.

Back about a million years ago (before marriage/children) I played some D&D and I played a Ranger got the character up to level 8 and I moved away from the group that played.

  3. In a new interview to Maxim.com, actress Diora Baird confirmed she is playing an Orion Slave Girl in the new Star Trek movie. Here are few excerpts of the brief interview.

Let's hope you keep things together in the new Star Trek flick. Who are you playing?

I play the green girl. There you have it.

    So you're an alien?

Um, I would assume so-unless I was born with a skin disease. In the original series, there were these infamous green women that Captain Kirk would hit on, and so without giving too much away, I'm one of those green girls.

  4. One of the worst episodes of Trek and the silliest costumes I've ever seen.......

True that. Typical of why 3rd season TOS has such a bad reputation, however I still like the format/info of AE's post.

  5. "The Most Toys" isn't a terrible episode - certainly not using The Next Generation's first season as a standard - but it's not very good either, ultimately bogged down by technobabble, plodding drama, and lack of a clear theme or moral.

I guess opinions are like noses everbody has one.

IMO "The Most Toys" is an excellent 3rd season episode. Episodes like this is why IMO 3rd season ST:TNG was the best of the seven seasons.

Cartoon Network is counting down to Friday, September 19, when the The Clone Wars Intergalactic Tour blasts off in malls around the country. The tour will run for eight consecutive weekends, making appearances in eight major cities across the country until it completes its mission on Sunday, November 9. The tour brings to life both favorite and new characters from the upcoming animated series The Clone Wars with interactive activities for kids and families to enjoy. The Clone Wars, the first weekly television series from Lucasfilm Animation, premieres on Cartoon Network Friday, October 3, at 9 p.m. (ET, PT).

The tour is being managed by iris Experience, a New York based marketing agency specializing in creating brand experiences through engaging and memorable events. Working together, Cartoon Network, Lucasfilm Ltd. and iris Experience will present a Jedi experience at each mall stop specially tailored for "younglings." The environment will blend Star Wars characters and a variety of entertainment stations, which will offer a range of fun, interactive games and activities. Kids can choose to take a Lightsaber Skill Test, preview the soon-to-be released Clone Wars interactive game, take their picture with favorite Star Wars characters, get a sneak preview of the weekly adventure series in a special screening area, and even get a temporary Star Wars tattoo.

"Our goal is to offer our young viewers the chance to fully immerse themselves experientially in Star Wars," explains Brenda Freeman, chief marketing officer for Cartoon Network. "Parents will be able to introduce their kids to the favorite Star Wars characters they've come to know and love, as well as some exciting new ones from the upcoming series. At its core, this is an interactive event that brings the world of The Clone Wars to life for longtime fans and fans in the making."

    Tour schedule is as follows:

Chicago: Gurnee Mills Mall on Sept. 19-21

New York: Roosevelt Fields Mall on Sept. 26-28

Philadelphia: King of Prussia Mall on Oct. 4-5

Washington, D.C.: Tyson Corner Center Mall on October 11-12

Atlanta: Lenox Square Mall on Oct 18-19

Miami: Dadeland Mall on Oct. 25-26

Houston: Houston Galleria Mall on Oct. 31 - Nov. 2

Los Angeles: Brea Mall on Nov. 8-9.

The Clone Wars premieres on Cartoon Network Friday, October 3 at 9 p.m. (ET, PT) with a special one-hour presentation that anchors the network's all-new night of fantasy, action and adventure.

I'm taking the kids & I'll be there! :superhappy:

  7. I thought some of you might find this interesting.

One of the features I have in the boards Stats is the ability to see what keywords people use in the search engines (Yahoo, Google, Hotbot etc.) to find us. The stats tell me the top 20 searches that hit us. Some of them have nothing to do with Star Trek at all, here they are in order:

    1. ezri dax naked

    2. t'pol breast

What kind of site are you running here anyway? :superhappy:

  8. Ya' can't git married to yer sweetheart 'cause there's a dang law against it.

Actually Mr. Hangon I don't think that particular joke translates all that well to those overseas.

I'm just going to explain the humor, not endorse it. There are a great many jokes about rural (country/hillbilly) people in this country getting married to their sisters and whatnot and of course there are laws against such unions to prevent inbreeding not whatnot.

Of course you should be allowed to marry Debbie and it not be against any law or give up your citizenship.
