  1. I'm 15 years old, and I've been watching trek since as long as I can remember, but I didn't really get into it until around the year 2000, when I saw my first TNG episode (before that all I'd seen was TOS and the movies). I watched TNG and TOS until I'd seen every episode, then I moved on to Voyager, and now DS9 and ENT.

  2. PICARD

If I were the federation president, I'd contact the Borg, and say, hey, either leave us alone, become our allies, or face utter and complete destruction, and if they said no, or something stupid like "you will be assimilated," I'd get every ship, every ally, and blow them out of existence.

  3. I was in Las Vegas last year, and I stayed at the Hilton, and while there, like any trekkie, I visited Star Trek The Experience. I had just finished eating at Quarks, and I saw the gift shops, so... I went in and was shocked at the prices of Star Trek DVD Season sets. THEY WERE 200 BUCKS!!! You can get the same thing at Best Buy or Wal-Mart for half that; also, phaser rifle kits that were cheap plastic, which you had to assemble and paint yourself, were 300 bucks. I bought 2 half bars of Gold Pressed Latinum over the internet, which were $25 a piece. I'm all for profit, but the stars (of the show) themselves wouldn't be able to buy some of the stuff in there.

  4. I believe it is very possible, all you would need to do, is read every molecule in what's being transported, for example a person, and save it. Then send the file to the other transporter, and then rebuild them one molecule at a time. Problem is, the only thing to do with the person that the molecules were read from, is to destroy them, unless you want two of them. Because you cannot transport the actual matter. So, basically, you die when you are transported, and your copy takes your place. I don't know about you, but I don't want to die; therefore, I'd probably never use a transporter.

  5. I have iTunes, and I have 652 songs in it, taking up 3.08GBs of my HD. I use the iTunes music store, but I have "illegally" downloaded a few songs. The music consists of mostly metal. I have 45 Metallica songs alone, some other songs from Motley Crue, Testament, Pantera, Megadeth, etc... Wanna here an awesome metal song, try "Trial By Fire" by "Testament."

  6. I didn't ask for your opinions. All I wanted was to know what OS you use, in fact, I should have made this a "Poll Only".

Hmmm.....snippy comments like that will ensure that nobody responds to any of your future threads.........chill out, dude...

I'm not tryin to be "snippy", it's just that the very first post after mine says that Macs suck, and that they should be thrown off a bridge, I didn't want to start again the age old battle between Operating Systems, and that is exactly what they were doing.

So from now on, can we just answer the Poll Question please?

How is that any different from your reply that macs are so superior?

As I see it your defending macs is far more fire for a OS war then someone stating their opinion about them…

    I know, I overreacted, and I apollogize.

Evidently you've never even seen a Mac, so do yourself a favor and go to an Apple store and experience a Mac first hand, and if your lucky, it will start to reverse the Microsoft brainwashing you've been exposed to.

  9. I've got SBC Yahoo! DSL, and it is the worst ISP I've ever had. Every month it stops working, and I gotta call tech support, and it's not even that fast. I clocks out at like 650kbps, where Verizon DSL is 3.0mbps, for comparison, there are 1024 kbps in one mbps, mbps is Mega Bits Per Second.
