Did I send you that???Yep, with the Romulan Ale and the Gold Pressed Latinum candy bar lol
I vaguely remember the candy bar, and worrying that it would melt before it got to you. The travel guide is completely erased from my memory......old age must be setting in.....

I don't know what a Gold Pressed Latinum is and I don't remember any Federation Travel Guide.I'm afraid I don't have the Gold Pressed Latinum candy bar any longer but I do have the travel guide still. I actually kept the candy bar for about 8 or 9 years but anyone that's ever tried to keep something like that knows that eventually the candy gets little worms in it so it had to go lol.
Did I send you that???

I must confess... it was me lol. I entered that back in 2003 really to tease Amy, I was proving to her that she was a secret closet Trekkie and pretty much everything I typed in there were things that described her lol.I'm a little surprised that anyone found that, and a little surprised that it's even still there after 6 years lol STF was also fairly new still and I figured that putting the board name on there might help drive visitors here. That's also why I always put the STF banners or dedication plaque at the start and end of the videos that I made. Just a little free advertising for the board lol.
I just can't get away from this, can I? Once more...I am NOT a Trekkie!
Hey, the Urban dictionary doesn't lie... so perhaps you're not a "Trekkie" but Trekker may be a different story.
By the way, what's a "Red Shirt"?
Also, have you ever bought Romulan Ale?
A "red shirt" is the poor sap who's about to get killed, and yes, I have purchased a bottle of Romulan Ale in my lifetime. Neither of these facts means anything....
lol Ok... if you say so... lol
Have you ever bought any Gold Pressed Latinum? How about a Federation Travel Guide detailing all the best places to eat on Vulcan or Cardassia or the best hotels on Feranganar?
And for those that may be curious about the Romulan Ale...
I don't know what a Gold Pressed Latinum is and I don't remember any Federation Travel Guide.

Being without your cell phone stinks. Don't lose it again.

^ I think that would kill me :) It's still in the upper 70's here.In reality, 10 degrees is not too bad for a WI winter. Wait until January! This will be considered a heat wave.

A chocolate/caramel apple from Wilmar's Chocolates. Nothing says fall in Appleton like an apple from Wilmars. I get one every year on my birthday instead of cake, but this year I needed a second.

Has to be Coke. Nothing else will do. I've tried.

A seagull in Marinette, WI has developed the habit of stealing Doritos from a neighborhood convenience store. The seagull waits until the Manager isn't looking, and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos. Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and shared by other birds.
The seagull's shoplifting started early this month when he first swooped into the store in Marinette, WI and helped himself to a bag of Doritos. Since then, he's become a regular. He always takes the same type of chips.
The Manager thinks it's great because people are coming to watch the feathered thief make the daily grab and run, and that's good for business, and especially since customers have begun paying for the seagull's stolen bags of Doritos because they think it's so funny.
However, the Manager did say, 'This is Wisconsin, and if that seagull starts to grab a 6-pack to go along with the Doritos, I may have to put a stop to it.'

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She
hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always
there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see
the world, I will marry you.'
One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages
came off, she was able to see everything, including her
boyfriend.
He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The
girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The
sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected
that. The thought of looking at them the rest of her life
led her to refuse to marry him.
Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her
saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before
they were yours, they were mine.'
This is how the human brain often works when our status changes.
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
was always by their side in the most painful situations.
Life Is a Gift
Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't
speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone
who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone
who's crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went
too early to heaven.
Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who
walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the
unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your
job.
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on
your face and think: you're alive and still
around.

You know you live in Phoenix when everyone gets excited because they said on the news that it probably won't hit 110 again this year...in the middle of September. They were talking about the unusual highs here recently, it was up in the 90's.
We have highs in the upper 90's this week and everyone's starting to plan their outdoor activities because of the cool down It's 98 on our back porch and I'm just giddy lol. The AC is off, windows open...beautiful fall day!
It's a shame Amy's not online for this conversation lol
98 is when people go inside, close the windows and turn the AC on... Horrible fall day... :)
Amy would be melting in that heat.

Amy asked me to post a couple of Alabama songs for her and I didn't have them (Reinvent the Wheel an Right Where I Am) so I bought the MP3's from Amazon.com.You could have asked, I would have been happy to send you the files. You should know by now that I have everything they've ever put out. The last CD I bought was either "The Last Stand" or "Songs of Inspiration II". I can't remember which was released first. I love Alabama's version of "The Old Rugged Cross".
Let me know how much I owe you for those MP3's.
Nothing, they were minimal charges. I found the rest of my CD's not long ago so I have them all now too.
You should know I'm not going to let this go.

The Experience? No. Not when I was there this past June. We did talk about going to Quarks to get some drinks but they were closed when we got back from Spamalot. When I was there in 2002, we got as far as the gift shop. We were going to do the rides but I didn't want to spend the money since it really didn't interest me and we got there like 30 minutes before it closed so it wouldn't have been worth it.But you were in there...
You know I was in there shopping for you. lol
