  1. I vote yes...

Because, if with all the tv series they did, and all the book they got...

    Yikes! lol

For the books, it's almost too funny... the way they portrayed Cochrane in Federation (crossover) and it FC is so different.. almost too funny

  2. I voted for the Jem'Hadar.  It took innovation and almost the entire alpha quadrant to defeat them.  Plus at the same tim they were keeping their own territories under control.

I have to agree on that, even if I don't like it.. lol

I put the romulans and Federation second.

But, after the dominion war, the fall of the obsedian order and the tal shiar, the klingon civil war....

  3. Well, probably...

But it could also be there to help the crew focus on their particular job and don't be distracted by what could happend at the other end of the bridge.

And it looks so cool on tv :-)

  4. Chakotay... Riker... Chakotay.. Riker....Chakotay!

I had to pick one.. lol

I agree than serving with a Vulcan captain would be excessively hard

And Kira.. I think she needs a little more time to be a good starship captain. Old demons to take care off

  5. I think it would all depend on how the things are when I come back.

If I found that my loved ones are still there, my friends and all... That they haven't forget me and all, that would be a great joy.

But if I found that most of them have died in a catastrophy...

  6. Well, mothers are ready to do a lot of things to avoid pain to their child. And sometimes, they are ready to go to extreme...

My mother was like that. I wont explain here, but well.

It's not about not liking your child, it's about trying to do what you think will help them having a better life.

But, It doesn,t mean that I agree with what she did, more with the reasons why she think it

  7. I used to read a lot of fanfics (not anymore... we have limited hours in a day I'm affraid)...

And, I like mostly the one that focus on unawnsered question we see with the series. :-)

I like to get awnsers to my questions, even if it might not be the good one :-)

  8. Shelby was getting on my nerves too...

But, I don't know if I could have like Riker as captain after having Picard there.

Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Riker. But maybe then we could have seen more level of Riker. For me, Picard was a much more complex and well round character.

  9. I agree with you guys.

At the beginning, youth and all make him enthousiastic and all.

But it's hard to always have to hide a potential you have... The truth freed him, and that was just great. That bring him a new confidance too. Like he was suddently passing from a young man to a man.

And Bashir and O'brien.. that's a classic in my book :-)

  10. hi Everybody

I am a real fanatic for Trek!! As I hope you are too since your here as well.

I would like to invite you all to come game and visit with me in a online VR visual character  chat room called the sims online in the city of calvins creek.

Other then simming in all of my spare time I read trek books and watch all the shows. I like science fiction and fantasy books but like fictional historical accounts too. Anything that causes my brain to adapt to a reality that different then my own, to think and mostly to feel.

has anybody read the Anne McCaferty books The Dragon Riders of Pern???  Im sure i spelled her name wrong  :spock:
