    Well we beat Baltimore the day before yesterday and lost yesterday.Right now we are down 0-4 in the 4th.The offense just isnt there.

     

    And starting tommorow we play a three games series against the Tigers.Since i take it you are a detroit fan Nik me and you are enemies at least for the next three days :naughty: .

    I believe in VBG's poll he said that the email would be coming when the board gies through upgrades.If Im not mistaken ihe said it will be a few months.It would be best to ask him though.

     

    You mean like replies to the topics you post on?

    I've been having the problem of receiving several hundreds of replies, because I put the checkmark on the Enable email notification of replies?....

    Just wondering if you can stop receiving STF.net email....

     

    Just uncheck the email reply box in your control panel.That should work.

    Ok on Saturday I am gonig to be taking the SAT's.I will be taking it a total of three times.This first time is jsut to see how I do and where I need to improve.Then I will take it again next year and once again before I graduate. So i wanted to get everybodys impression of the test.

     

    For those of you out there that have taken the SAT do you have any advice on what to do while taking it,study habits,ect.

     

    Anything is greatly appreciated.Thanks.

    I have lost all respect for baseball a long time ago.  They are too greedy and self-center to care about the game anymore.  The players who break records should place somewhere and known that they use steroids.  Steroids will not go away from the game.

    Odie not all of the players take steriords man.As a matter of fact I believe only 2-4%of players have ever been found to have used them.And not all players who break records use them either.Also it has not been proven that players like Barry Bonds have taken them.

     

    As for greedy its like that in all sports.If you were offfered say 252 million(Alex Rodrigues cotract when he was with Texas) to play you would too.Also not all player are like that.Take Edgar Martienez of the Seattle Mariners for example.Not many people know this but a few years ago the Yankees offered him 75 million to play for them.Thats more than 6 times what edgar is making now.He refuesed because he said he is playing for the love of the game not the money.Also Curt Schilling of the Red Sox took a huge pay cut when he joined Boston and was willing to recontruct his contract to whatever they wanted so he could play.

     

    I dont know maybe you have be a fanatic or have played to understand but some people just do it for the love of the game.

    Well the M's offense showed up today but it wasnt enough becuase instead of playing baseball against the Mariners Texas decided to have batting practice instead as they creamed us 14-6.They were up 7-0 they the offense showed up as we came back to make it 7-6.But then back to back to BACK homeruns off of Kevin Jarvis sealed it shut as the M;s lose 5 straight.They are now 6-13.

     

    And yes the yanks got swept by Beantown!!!! Yanks are now 8-13 not much better than the m's.

     

    So right now im still a m's fan but im just rooting for Boston harder because the M's are starting to worry me :)

    Very good episode.We are definitly seeing why this part of federation is never mentioned in other trek.Archer has pretty much transitioned over to" the dark side" and i like where they are taking his character with this.I liked the scene between Phlox and Archer in the ready room that was close.I allso liked how enterprise looked like it was about to fly apart.Good damage affects.Also thought it was cool that Damrar was in it!!!

     

     

     

    Overall a very good episode 8/10

    Yeh there were a lot of blowouts in spring training as well.Kinda weird

     

    Bal Tor 11-3-The Birds offense has been greatly improved this year and so far the Blu Jays suck so thats not surprising.

     

    Det Clev 17-3-Like I said before Cleveland just needs to start over from scratch.The Tigers are scaring the hell out of me.WTF did they come from!!!

     

    Sox Yanks 11-2-I loved this.I hate the yanks with a passion and its good seeing george lose to Beantown.Like I said the Bosox are the team to beat this year and the yankees are even close to them.Oh and BTW RED SOX BEAT YANKEES 3-2 TODAY!!!Take that yankee losers.(Offense is meant to all yankee fans)

     

    TEX Seattle 10-8-That wasnt really a blowout but yeah ur right,our offense is s ucking so far.But im not worried.Its good that we are flying under the radar.Go ahead and underestimate us,I will see you in October!

     

    Ana Oak 12-2-well look at anahiems lineup.They are capable of that kind of run prduction.

     

    Hou Col 13-7-What do you expect when you play in Colorado.Thats a low scoring game there. :frusty:

    My signature at Imagination Island, my forum, is 476 characters and not very long at all.  It's a lengthy qoute in small print along with a picture from the qouted movie.  So, 200 doesn't seem like that much to me.

    Yeah it would be nicer if the sigs were longer than 175 characters.Now if it were 175 letters then that would be fine.Because code and spaces take up alot of those characters.I mean I can barely fit 2 senteces in my sig.Look at my signature it is 143 characters and it is really short.

     

    Sigs defintitly need to be longer.

    I don't really think I'm either, but they're definitely not bad things. I'm fairly popular, know very little about computer technology, and most of my friends don't know I like sci-fi anyway (not that I'm ashamed of it). If the mere fact that I like sci-fi makes me a little bit of a geek, then so be it. :frusty:  The nerds and geeks'll get all the money anyway :frusty: .

    Dork? hmmmm well I'm not sure I never really used the term to describe anybody.Ok thats not true I got a friend who sometimes acts silly and when he does I call him a dork so I get thats about as close as I will get "someone who acts silly".I think that term is maybe outdated at least around my area cause I rarely hear it.

    I'm siding with VBG here. it's not so hard to understand, and it's not even censorship. At the moment, the rule isn't even in effect yet, so logic dictates that until it becomes "Law", you can have a link in your sig. Now, what is so hard about going to the links forum and posting a link there, or putting one in your profile under homepage? I did it. wasn't that hard, and it didn't hurt at all. My advise? take the easy way, put your link in your profile, and post ONE thread about your site in the links forum, and be done with it. you are exhausting too much energy fighting this.

     

    By the way, this is VBG's forum. he owns it, he pays for it, he chooses what is acceptable for posting here.

    Boston's my team to cheer for when the M's aren't doing too hot. But They're picking up finally after a bumming firs couple weeks! I wanna see Oly get his bat warmed up tho! :P

    Last Place-Detroit Tigers-One season removed from becoming the 2nd worst ream in baseball histroy and losing a shameful 119 games Detroit has nowhere to go but up.It will be a few years before they can contend but adding world series MVP Ivan Rodirgues and shortstop Carlos Gullien will help.

    Ouch! Painful for any Tigers fan. However, things are looking up this year. In fact, they are doing fairly rescpectably.
