None of the above, I would prefer to be redeemed - like Luke did for Darth. Given my preference I'd like to be redeemed by Archer.I have to agree TheUnicornHunter! Captain Jonathan Archer can redeem me any day!

I voted for TWOK only because there wasn't a both option. They're both great!

Has anyone read Shatner's book Get a Life!? I recommend it!

Glad you're back VBG! (Iknow this is a little late, but I was off the boards for a few days. lol)

Good job VBG! There were a lot of promotions!
Get ready. I'll be up for one in 19 posts. You may call me Commodore now if you like.

I typed "Riaan" + "Star Trek" in a Google search and found STF on the second page.
Actually I found out about STF from VBG way back when, on ST.com, when he first set up the board. It was an Alabama board back then, wasn't it VBG?

Well done VBG !!!

Red Shirt #2?! Who is this pretender!?OK, back to Earth. Yes, the Trip/Malcolm relationship is great. It's one of the best things about the show, in my opinion. Their conversations are written well, in such a way that they talk about things totally unrelated to the mission/main plot, but still within the context of the program. For example, their chat in Shuttlepod 1 about this and that was really didn't advance our knowledge of the mission or the universe Enterprise is set in, but it gave us a glimpse of how crew might interact after hours and made them seem more human. Often, Trek episodes contain dialogue that is there only to push the main plot forward. Having these little side conversations really helps to add another dimension to the program. I won't go so far as to say it's perfect yet, but you can certainly see the relationships building into something deeper than what we've seen between a lot of characters in past series. I often think of Troi and Riker's supposed relationship. We were always told (as Moulin Rouge noted) about their past relationship and everything was based in that; with Trip and Malcolm's friendship, we can see it evolving, which also, I think, helps the actors to grow into the characters and provide a better performance.
Well said, Red Shirt Volunteer, well said!
You can be on my away team any time (and I promise I won't let you get killed)!

Competition can be a good thing. It keeps you on your toes, and hopefully makes you produce quality work. Otherwise you perish.

I, too, have a life. It's just that Star Trek is part of my life. If that part were taken away, I could still survive, but it has contributed in part to who I am.Very well said Indy!! I agree with Gotabite too. Trek is a part of my life just as many other things are and it has had helped shape the person I am.
So very, very true!

I voted Troi/Riker, but Jadzia/Worf and B'Elanna/Tom are my next choices.

Kahn by far!!!
He had such a charismatic and eloquent quality about him. And his need for vengence was all consuming.
The Borg Queen comes in at a close second for me. I, too, loved First Contact.

Enterprise or Star Trek: Enterprise. It doesn't matter to me. It's still the same show, and still a part of the franchise.
