  1. When I was growing up my sister in law used to sabotage the toilet seat so that it would not stay up without it being held. She continued this until a few months ago when they bought a new house. This was very annoying because it required the males in the house, which outnumbered the females by 3 to 1, to have to use one hand to hold up the toilet seat, leaving only one hand for aiming, lol. We spent plenty of time fixing the seat, but gave up because she would not leave it alone. When questioned on this she always said that it is the mans responsibility to make sure that the seat is in the correct position for for a female.

Now what caused her to finally break the habit is that all of the men agreed that the seat would stay down and in the proper position, even while it was in use by the standing male, and that wiping the seat was to much effort on our part. Well needless to say, in the new house she has never tried to sabotage the toilet seat.

  2. It would pretty much be a real world version of how I play video games. 'Oh, I fell to my death, best try it once more just in case', 'Hmm, that ended in an horrific death, maybe I'll walk around the bonfire next time'. I think a fear of death and injury is healthy and without it I think we'd lose appreciation for a lot of things.

Although I would love to live forever I agree with you on this one. I also believe that it would lead to a breakdown in society as a whole. I believe that crime would rise to an unbelievable level, since there would not be the fear of death to try to hold it down. Also, if a person never had to worry about death then incarceration would be less of a fear as well since the person would know that they would just need to ride out the sentence and be returned to society.

  3. Wishing the next half hour would pass, so I can make the 2 1/2 hour drive to my families house again for the weekend.

I forgot to tell you, your boss called and asked me to pass along a message that he needs you to stay and work till 1 am. Then come back in at 4 am for a 16 hour shift tomorrow...

lol, he can bite me. :elephant:

I am already working 14 hour days five days a week. The reason for the trip to my families each week is to get as far from here as I can.
