  1. I don't see anything wrong with having a gay character, there will be gays in Archers time as well as Picards time.I would not want them to focus on a gay storyline but if we see Reed or someone holding hands with another of the same gender it would not bother me.They certainly show enough heterosexual action between people why not throw a gay couple into the mix be it two men or two women.

  2. Actually it is natural, most gays are born that way its not a choice for them.Did you know in Amsterdam there is a gay animal exhibit at their zoo? Here in Tucson and in other cities there are places for gay children (Mostly teens) to go and hang out without fear of being harrased.

When I hear people say its wrong because of some religious reason it really makes me glad I'm an Athiest, but you do know there are churches that support gays and some even have gay preachers that are probably just as religious as many of you.

Since I don't have any religious myths to hold me back I can accept and respect most everybody,I'm a big believer in the Vulcan IDIC (Infinate Diversity in Infinate Combinations).

I just don't understand why some people are so down on others that will probably never have anything to do with them.Everyone has the right to love who they want without being condemed by anybody.

People need to learn to accept that there are differences in other people, once thats learned the world will become a safer place.

  3. There is certainly nothing wrong with gay people, most are born that way.But I agree what goes on in the bedroom is nobodys business.I bet you'd be surprised at how many gay actors have appeared on Star Trek.In real life Armin Shimerman's best friend and best man at his wedding is gay.How do I know this you may ask? I work in theatre and had the pleasure of working with Frank (Armin's friend).Frank also appeared on a DS9 episode.

I like what Ms.Sirtis said about in the future being gay is no big thing so why point it out.

  4. You are thinking of Lt.Hawk,I read that book too and liked it.Actually rumor has it that Lt.Hawk was gay in the film First Contact, but TPTB decided to leave out all refrences to his lifestyle before releasing the film.

I see nothing wrong with a gay character,as long as he or she performs their duty aboard the Enterprise.

  5. First I would like to say that I like Stargate too,Col.Jack O'Neill cracks me up every time!

Now as a long time Star Trek watcher (since 1966),I've always enjoyed every series to come out of the Star Trek universe. I find Enterprise to be a very good and exciting show which reminds me alot of TOS.

I look forward to another 5 more seasons of Enterprise!

  6. This was an excellent episode! I like the fact that we learned a little more about the Klingon culture and past.

I was amazed that the folks over at Star Trek .com are doing nothing but bashing this episode. They say its a complete rip off of Star Trek:Undiscovered Country.I think they need to watch that film again because there was no resemblence to the TV episode at all with the exception of there being a trial.two totally different story lines. It seems some people hate Enterprise so much they are starting to make things up to get people to believe they are right.

    I give this episode a 8 1/2 om the 1-10 scale.

  7. I was in the Army from 1975-78,I was stationed in Germany at Anderson Barreks near the town of Nierstien on the Rhine river.I drove a C.E.V. (Combat Engineer Vehicle) Its basically an M-60 tank with a bulldozer blade and wench and boom, also a 155 millimeter cannon,a 60 caliber machine gun and a 50 caliber machine gun.

We added a few extras to our tank as well, like an 8-Track tape player and 4 speakers on the turrent so no matter which way we spun the cannon we all had stereo! And we added a ice chest to keep those tasty German beers cool while we were rolling about playing war.

Ahhhhh the good ole days! :wow:

  8. Here in Arizona we don't do the day light savings time. While the rest of the country changes its clocks forward,we just don't bother with it.I do have to remember that half of the year we're a 3 hours time difference from the east coast the other half of the year we're only 2 hours difference.
