  1. I think there are some still around but since, as evidenced by DS9, the galaxy class ship was mass produced after awhile, there wasn't much point in the Ambassador class vessel. I would also assume they lost a bunch in the Borg attack and maybe even remaining one's in the Dominion war, since it was a somewhat old class, they didn't bother to build more. Same with the Miranda class. Those were probably replaced by the Akira class.

  2. well i just got back from seeing it again. its a great movie. well heres a question for those of you who saw it, dont read this if you dont want to know something that happens by the end.

so how many of you think that GENE GRAY didnt die but moved on to a higher plane of existence. especially with that smile at the end by XAVIER. also i agree totally with crims COLOSSUS was awsome, and i sure hope to see alot more of him in the third installment. DAMN i wouldnt want to run into him in a dark alley. lol how about that female wolverine, i dont know about the blades coming out of her fingertips, how can she bend, and use her fingers if there is adimantium in them, its indestructable once its hard. how about when wolverine got shot in the head that was pretty cool too, when the bullet popped out of his head.

well after seeing it again, i must raise my solid 7, to a solid 9.5. i leave .5 because no matter the show or movie theres always something that can be better. OH YEAH, AND HOLLE BERRY IS SSSSSOOOOO HOT, AND LETS NOT FORGET REBECCA ROMAJN STAMOS, SSSMMMOOOKKKIIIINNN, I LOVE THE PAINTED ON LATEX COSTUME. MMMMMMMMMMMM. sorry went into a zone. lol.

This is a comic book spoiler that will probably be followed in the movie

Now keep in mind I never really read the comic book but back in the day I'd collect marvel trading cards, and on the back they'd have facts and information on characters. Anyways, the point is Jean Grey will come back as Marvel Girl (a name they probably won't use in the movie because it sounds funny). Basically she has complete control over her powers and can do some crazy stuff including controlling her own body so that she can fly. When her eyes went red and she had that glowing aura at the end there, that's essentially Marvel Girl's thing when she uses her powers. So don't worry, if they stay somewhat true to the comic book she is still alive and will be back for the next movie extremely powerful.

  3. I give it a 9. I loved the action scenes as some of them were just plain cool and Nightcrawler was amazing. And even though he was in for a really short scene, Colossus was badass too, he better be in the next one a lot.

The story was a little more believable this time but I felt it needed more Picard, er I mean Professor X (hah) and Colossus screen time (yes, I'm a Colossus fan).

    Story=good, action=great, could be better=possibly, satisfied=definitely

    9/10

  4. Yup, the producers thought she looked too cheerleader like and wanted her to look more official.

Well I thought she looked pretty darn cute in the blue dress. The updo was a bit much. She looked best in the movies with her natural hair.

    I concur completely

  5. What are everyones least favorite episodes??

    Hmm lets see mine are,

    any second season episodes...

"Code of Honor" I found it kind of wierd

"Skin of Evil" *Beware of the black slime*

"Final Mission" sappy, Wes episode.. nuf said

"Devils Due" this one has always bugged me

    "Lessons" One word "Nella" *gag*

"The Perfect Mate" Once again it just has always bugged me

    all hail Bev!!

Well I seem to like some of the ones you don't, but then I like the earlier seasons of TNG the best, when in complete contrast to you. Oh well.

I have to agree with Alterego about Gambit, also Disaster, The Outcast, Ensign Ro, Dark Page, Journey's End, Homeward. I am sure there are worse episodes that I can think of but it is very difficult as TNG was such a good show and had more good episodes than bad. The one thing that I did seriously dislike was the musical score that came around the last few years of the show, it seemed very dull and quite possibly ruined my enjoyment of certain episodes that I might have found better.

Ensign Ro and Disaster are great episodes in my opinion, especially Disaster. Worf with Keiko was hilarious and Troi in command of the bridge was interesting. I liked how each section had an unlikely pairing.

  6. I have a book that is totally dedicated to the make-up and props of Star Trek. It stated that the Klingons were done like that in TOS because they didn't have enough money or resources to do anything else, even though they wanted to. And remember how all the secondary Romulan characters wore helmets? That's so that they didn't have to make and apply a separate ear appliance for all of the Romulan characters... most of you probably knew that though.

What's the name of that book? I'd like to look for it.

I'll have to check, it has Worf on the cover. Very informative as it describes not only how they did the make up for all major aliens but the thought process involved in the look as well. They also did some stuff on props.

  7. Even though I picked Bashir I look at each doctor differently. Dr. Crusher would be someone I can picture being my family doctor, where as Bashir or The Doctor would be more of the doctor performing surgery on you at the hospital. Meanwhile, McCoy would be the bitter old doctor who you hate, but who still gets the job done, hehe.
