For me, I would be frozen place with a very bright red face. Vocal cords malfunctioning. :P

Well, it's like I was saying. One of Data is enough, and his crewmates have their hands full with him as it is!

You get about 30 of him in one room, and it's enough to cause an overdose!:P

a whole ship full of Datas with small percentage of drolling females.  What a thought. :P  :P  :P

I thought the one episode where Data tried his hand at humour was amusing..

And there's a scene I think was from that same episode, where Data's asking someone something, and in response the tell him, "Don't look at me.." meaning they don't know the answer. Data however takes this literally and turns his head away from them.:o

I'm not much of a Star Trek fan, but I really did like Insurrection! Data really stole the show, IMHO, and he was a lot of fun to watch. I liked at the end where he's playing with the kid, and one of his crew members tells him it's time to go home.

I voted for Data. He's certainly an intriguing little thing.

there's a Star Trek manga in development. I don't know sounds a like a mismatch to me.

I dunno. Anime has a lot of big ships, androids, and exotic creatures. I think a manga would work! Is it TNG or regular trek?

I've just gotten finished reading the third installment of the latest TNG novel series, "A Time To.." Has anyone else read this? What are your thoughts on it?

I think the writing's pretty good for the most part, but poor Data's got a pretty distressing role in it! *hugs an android*

I think Johnny Depp would be great as Data.:)

At this point I don't think making an animated TNG would be a good idea. However back in the day before they had made 3-post TNG series wishing that they would have.

Actually I think TNG would work as an anime.

I also think an animated spinoff series starring Data would have worked! He's popular enough to have his own following. Something like that would have been very successful!:)

o.O I would think an entire starbase or what have you full of Data clones would get really redundant after awhile!

I think the rest of the Star Trek universe is thankful there's only one of Data. Can you imagine what hundreds of him would be like?

(Besides, the cuteness factor would make everyone's teeth rot within a 300 mile radius! :) )

I chose Data. What's there not to like about him? He's spunky, ambitious and disgustingly adorable!
