Which series do you like the best? The Original Series
Which movie? Star Trek III: The Search for Spock
Have you seen all the episodes of any of the series? All the episodes of the Original Series and all the episodes of The Next Generation
When and how did you discover Trek? Way back in 1966 when Star Trek first aired, my siblings and I enjoyed the show (my father hated it). The rest of the series, TNG, DS9, VOY and Ent, pluse all the movies has been for me a natural progression.
Have you ever been to a convention? I've never been, but someday I hope to have my schedule free to attend one. I hear the Shore Leave convention in Maryland is pretty good (and closer than Las Vegas for me).
Have you seen any of the actors up close (not just close to the TV)? I met William Shatner during a rehearsal in Atlantic City. He's a delightful man.
Do you own a starfleet uniform? I have an Original Series Dress (boy are they short skirts!), and two TNG uniform shirts (science division blue and engineering division gold).
Have you ever dressed up as an alien? No.

I like the silly looking hats the Vulcan's wore while working on the Bird of Prey in Star Trek IV. Perhaps one of those?

My significant other enjoys Star Trek with me. He buys me Trek things when he finds something he thinks I would like. We both enjoy snuggling up on the sofa watching the movies.
So for me, it's not a problem at all. My children, however, think their mother is a little wacky when it come to Star Trek.

I am a Professional Dancer/Entertainer. I am currently not working and considering retirement (my knees can't take the pounding anymore).
I was in some Broadway shows "The Me Nobody Knows", "Sugar Babies", "Cats", and numerous off Broadway productions. Lately, I've been dancing/performing in Atlantic City in the casino shows. My last performance was in "Menopause, The Musical".

I voted for "Data's Day". I liked watching how his day went with all the wedding plans going awry.
I loved the line: "This does not remind me of you" - Data to Worf, commenting that Worf's selection of a crystal swan as a present for O'Brien's wedding is not indicative of Worf's personality.

I think Hugh Jackman would be good. Although the last Aussie who was Bond did not fair so well.

I'm listening to the song "The Irish Volunteer" on the David Kincaid CD of the same title.

In a word..... Crappy.
Drizzly, chilly and raw.

There should be an amplifier between your TV and your speakers. The jack provided on the TV will not amplify the sound enough to power your speakers.
So your hook up should be.... TV.... Amplifier.... Speakers.
Hope this helps.

I had a great time on New Year's Eve!
It's 9:52 am here.
What time is it where you are?

The mini-series was awful. Ged too much of a whiner, he whined some in the books, but not nearly as much as in the mini-series.
If you get a chance, read the books... they're so much better!

They would be cute until you found them rummaging through your cupboards. I wonder if they would scatter when you turned on the light?

There is a reason why there are so many humanoid species. Not only did "The Chase" (TNG) show us why, but there is also the budget consideration. It has to be much less expensive to put someone in costume and makeup than to generate the special effects that are needed for non-humanoids.

I tried listening to them when I was driving, but I wasn't able to give them full concentration, and I found myself driving around the block a couple of times to get through a "chapter".
So now, I usually listen to them when I'm on an airplane. They're a great way to pass the time, and they're definitely Star Trek!

Actually, I don't know if this really counts as Trek, but I'm going to consider that it does.
I'm watching the second trailer to Brink Back Kirk. Pretty cool the way they've weaved everything together. There are always possibilities!

I'll give it a few more chances, as long as it doesn't interfere with Enterprise, although I found it to be painfully slow.
