It would have changed the dynamics of the plot lines. Beverly and Dianna were awfully fickle and fell in and out of relationships at the drop of a hat. The Captain had his own relationship plots also.

I rather enjoyed the "undertones" their relationship (Picard and Crusher) had.

There would have been a lot of story lines lost. IMHO.

I will probably buy it the day it's released, then have a Special Edition Star Trek movie marathon.

I don't think any of the Star Trek show are weak. They're all "Wagon Train to the stars", and all have their strong points as well as weak points.

Yes, I would want to know. Even after seeing the expression on my Mother's face when we told her that her options were to let nature take it's course (die) or live for a few more years with tubes stuck in her. It broke my heart.

80 channels... $60.00 for cable and there's still nothing on. I usually just put on the weather for a while, maybe the news. Although on SciFi tomorrow they're airing Star Trek (TOS) all day beginning at 8am.
