I've seen some of the Blu Ray versions so far and I'm fairly impressed. I've been so busy for a couple of years that I don't know what their plans are, but I hope they make Blu Ray editions of DS9 and Voyager as well.

I am looking forward to seeing TNG in Blu-ray as the re-runs look awful now on a big 40-odd inch sized screen especially when you are used to the high quality we have these days. Even TOS looks better than TNG in its remastered format. I wonder if the silly little things they put into TNG Ocudagrams in the background (like the rubber duck) will show up in HD? I am so glad I have not bought TNG on dvd...
My understanding was that they could make them in HD because of the post production process that they opted for when they were making the episodes.
I'll have to look into these, I'd love to see them in full HD.

25th anniversary of TNG... amazing!

Sounds very interesting, I look forward to seeing it.

Wow, seems like we were just celebrating the 25th anniversary!

Very simple story but pretty good. One of the better season 3 episodes. Not great, but gets a 4 from me.

This was a good episode, not one I'd go back to re-watch many times but it was ok. I give it a 4.

A lot of real astronauts and NASA workers, both past and present would (and have) credit the Star Trek franchise with sparking a spirit of exploration in them. I don't think it's a bad thing to have a Star Trek exhibit at the KSC. The first space shuttle is named after the Star Trek Enterprise and the original Enterprise is in the Smithsonian after all.

If I had a place to put it, I'd think about getting one just for the fun of putting it together. I haven't made a model since I was about 16. I think the last model I made was a B-17 Model.

We're talking about a computer program here. Did anyone think to, you know, like, make more than one copy of the program?
They tried in one episode and it failed within a minute or two. I think it was in "Message in a Bottle". Then there was the backup module that was stolen in "Living Witness".

I thought this was a very interesting episode with a really good story.

I like the new actors, I'm not a fan of the new direction and writing though.

I didn't know that, or at least if I did know it I forgot it.Trek fans will remember that King Abdullah II of Jordan is a Star Trek fan. While still a prince, King Abdullah had a non-speaking role in Star Trek: Voyager: Investigators, where he played a science officer. -
I'm going to watch this movie in a little while and I can't get the song out of my head...

No, you're right, the TOS episode did have him arriving as an old man but being made young again by the Companion. The TOS Zephram Cochran was younger (and more mature) than the First Contact Zephram Cochran too. That was a mistake that can't be explained.TOS Zephram told Kirk that he was an old man when he arrived there and that the Companion had made him young. Unless I dream't that.

From "The Postman" - A nice song, probably never released other than for the movie.

I'm open to making a sub-forum in Kronos if there's enough interest. Maybe a thread devoted to religion might be better in the meantime.

I changed the flash audio file in the first post to a YouTube video of the scene.
Watching ENT start to finish

I've recently watched all of Enterprise again, the final episode tends to piss me off more and more as time goes by. The series really did deserve better than that.
