Does this damned ship have a cloaking device? if so, and if it works, engage it! We need time to conduct our own repairs before we can go help people. Engineering, I want as much power as you can give me in 24 hours. Concentrate on Warp, Impulse, and shield systems. if we have to, we can jury rig the shuttles to provide weapons power. now, for my CMO, after this is over, we're having a talk about you not waiting for permission to use my transporters!

Non-vital systems. we've got a small crew, set up temporary quarters in the messdecks and shuttle bay one, and close off any non-vital sections of the ship not required for current operations. that means moving people out of their quarters and deactivating life support. that should provide alot of extra power. do not seal off any sections of passageways containing access to escape pods, but I want access TO them limited to Jeffries tubes only. if I do my math correctly, that should give us about 80% of the ship without life support, meaning you can draw that power for repairs.

Aye sir, impulse power should be up in about 15 minutes, and we should have warp 2 in an hour, warp five in 2 and warp 9 in 4 hours...

I want all crewmembers who are able to assist in repairs. I want this ship in fighting order as soon as possible. Engineering, if possible, try and see if you can spread out the EPS system using secondary and tertiary trunks, unused sections of passageways, all that. set up the shuttle's warp cores to provide secondary power. bust out the emergency power generators that are standard equipment, stored in Cargo Bay 1. I want our power systems to be as decentralised as we can make it, just like the Borg.

the CHallenger dropped out of warp and imediately made contact with the Borg vessel. the Challenger now closed with the Borg vessel. since the repairs were done, Captain Phaserman had ordered all power not being used for life support or sensors be redirected to the shields and structural integrity fields. checking the compliment of Torpedoes, the CHallenger was ready.

As the Challenger started to fire back and at the same time used evasive movement, the Cube started to calculate any pattern in their movements. They fired at the little Defiant as many times they could to slow them down, so they could get a tractor lock.

The remaining Cube pursuitet the Challenger and tried to fire at them so they went out of warp. After a little while did the Cube got lucky. As the Challenger went out of warp, the Cube fired again at their aft shields untill the shields were down. At once did the Borg got an transporterlock on several people onboard the Challenger, including the Captain. They all got beamed over to the Cube.

Hmm, here's where my military training comes in handy, I suppose.

as Jim is beamed over, the Challenger's backup arrives, the USS Shiloh (remember her from my other sim?) and begins firing with all forward weapons. the sudden distraction, combined with the Shiloh's beaming over a group of Starfleet Marines, allows Jim to escape with all but two of his crewmembers. as the two ships go to warp, the Shiloh opens fire with her aft torpedo tubes to disuade a close persuit.

meanwhile on the bridge...
