"And now that we're alone..." Delrone goes over and grabs Picard.

Captain Picard holds up a futuristic technological marvel.

"You're not going anywhere without this, and you're going to need me to opperate it."

*Riker*

"With all due respect I do not recognize your authority aboard this vessel, and I am not relinquishing command unless ordered to do so by Starfleet Command. I do not know the events that have happened subsiquent to our current time, but I have no way to know what actions you have taken in the future. I have been in contact with Starfleet Command and am under orders to remain in command of this vessel and to take Captain Picard and Mr. Delrone into custody. Also, the temporal prime directive prevents you from disclosing any information concerning future events, and due to your violations of this Directive already aboard this vessel I would be within my rights to have you confined to the brig. After we have retrieved Captain Picard and Mr. Delrone I will contact Starfleet Command to inform them of the situation, but right now I advise that you have a seat Admiral, or else get off my bridge."

Admiral Janeway gives Riker a sly, dry, smirk.

"Commander, you don't have any idea what the heck you've just gotten yourself involved in."

The Admiral places her hands on her hips, giving Riker an angry scowl.

*Riker*

What I do know Admiral is that I have orders to follow. And one more word from you and you are going in the brig."

Janeway steps closer to Riker.

"I have my orders too, Commander. I am the senior ranking officer. Last I checked, the Admiral outranks Commander. I will be taking command of the Enterprise as of this moment. You are here by releaved of duty."

(mean while, in the shuttlecraft...)

Picard, "Time is running out. The Enterprise will be here soon. You can be recaptured, destroyed while trying to escape, or escape with my assistance. Take your pick."

*Riker*

"My orders come directly from Starfleet Command. Mr. Worf you can access them in the ships computer if you wish. Take Miss Janeway into custody and secure her in the brig."

*Worf draws a phaser and escorts Janeway off the bridge and locks her in the brig."

Delrone thinks about the options for a second. "Very well," he settles. But when he's about to get to work he stops in confusion, "Why... are you helping me?"

*Riker*

*Looks up as Mr. Worf comes back onto the bridge."

*Worf looks at him and says "The prisoner has been secured in the brig with three security officers posted. All technology has been removed from her person and the additional forcefields have been activated to prevent beaming.*

"Thank you Mr. Worf. ETA until we overtake the shuttle"

(Picard and Delrone's shuttlecraft)

Picard runs to an access panel in the mid-arch of the shuttle and hooks up the technological marvel, then returns to the shuttecraft controls.

"Both are peoples are at stake here, not just mine."

(back on the Enterprise)

Commander Janeway (of the present) enters the bridge. She approaches Commander Riker.

"Commander, since my transfer to the U.S.S. Al-Batani has been post poned, I was wonderring if I could be of any assistance?"

*Riker*

"We have everything well in hand, return to your quarters."

Delrone looks over at the Device as it just then starts working with the Shuttle.

Commander Janeway, while heading for her quarters, meets up with Dr. Crusher.

Commander Janeway, "Dr. Crusher, is something wrong?"

Crusher, "This way, move it!"

Dr. Crusher slaps a phaser in Janeway's hand, then drops to the floor as a phaser beam shoots over her head. Crusher roles on her back, and kills the Enterprise crewman.

"Janeway, we've got to get to the brig! MOVE IT!"

Janeway and Crusher enter the brig... an ensign fires at Janeway, Crusher shoves her out of the way, but is hit in the arm, setting her medical robe on fire. Commander Janeway shoots her phaser at the ensign, vaporising him.

Commander Janeway, "Why is my phaser set to maximum setting?!"

Admiral Janeway stands up behind the force field.

"Hello."

Commander Janeway looks at her future self.

"Oh my..."

(back in the shuttlecraft)

Picard, "I'm bringing us up to warp 9. We should be reaching Earth any time now."

The Shuttle drops Warp, and approaches Earth. Delrone looks out the window at the emmense size of the planet. "Soon... this Planet will be ours..."

Picard, "We're on a mission to do two things. Prevent the enslavement of humanity along with the genocide of your species."

Delrone checked the console... "What the?? We've time travelled!!"

Picard, "Precisely. To the future, specifically, 2381."

Picard looks through the view port, seeing the surface of Earth... a baron waist land.

"This can't be possible... If this is the future... then we should have taken over your planet. The entire Federation should have been taken over. Life would still have been thriving, only with us in control."

Picard, "Janeway, an Admiral from the future, explained that with the Federation over-run by your race, the Borg were able to assimilate the Federation, followed by the Klingon and Romulan empires. This was followed by all life in this area of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants to be exterminated by a powerful alien species from another relm. Janeway wouldn't reveal any more information as a result of the Temporal Prime Directive."

Picard engages the device again.

"We'll return to our time, just after the Enterprise reaches Earth orbit, and prevent this horrid disaster."

Picard turns toward Delrone.

"Will you help me?"

Delrone can't believe what he's hearing. "Then if we take over... there will nothing but destruction..." He turns to the Captain. "The take over should be stopped."

I am closing this RPG in favor of the start of the new one.
