I remember back in the Star Trek Mag of 1994 (long time ago) a competition to win a real tricorder, The device was somewhat shaped like a brick, and looked like one too. It was able to take many readings like temperature and other things.

And even the humble Star Trek PDA, we have our real version of this in the form of a Palm device. I wonder what other device from the Star Trek universe will come out to the real world next?
Captain Jean-Luc Picard
I think the palm device is more like Trek's "padd" that we allways see everywhere, especially on the captain's desk and in engineering. laugh.gif

I agree, I have heard they have developed a "Hypospray" that uses compressed air to insert the contents rather than a needle.

my cousin used to use one of the new hypospray things and she liked it for a while but it started to give her bruses.
Admiral Kirk
I've heard of those but I've never seen one. BTW I like your Avatar of the Battle Armor Cobra Commander.

I have never seen a real tricorder before but I have heard of one. If you have a picture of one I would like to see one. Thanks! smile.gif
