Have you ever modified a ship design for an RPG? I have done it in all my sims. in the challenger sim here at STF, I had extra weapons added to the ship. in the USS Eros sim, run by STF member Qlotti, I command the USS SHiloh, and I modified the two runabouts the shiloh carries into attack craft, with 12 type IV pulse phasers and 2 torpedo tubes. in the USS Fearless sim, I had the Fearless modified extensively. it's a soveriegn class starship. I had the single dorsal phaser split into two arrays by removing a 15 degree wedge, and capping the open ends with emmiter ends. in the gap, I added some specialised sensor systems, not standard on a Soveriegn class starship.

They sound like good, well thought out modifications. Reasonable, logical and a touch of style.

I haven't modified any ships but I have created three new ships and a spacestation for use in my Fan-Fic, as you can see in my signature. There's something about having your own unique ship to kick ten shades of cr*p out of anyone you come across that really feels speacial.

I have another thread on here that has pics of the Shiloh. it really is a powerful vessel, and the runabout type attackers increase it's power.

I can't even FIND an RPG Where are they? Think I'll start my own on the Starship U.S.S. ELUSIVE.

I've modified the D7 extensively...

You can see for yourselves that it is extremely different than the one encountered in voyager....

I added another two wings with nacelles. disruptor cannons were replaced by pulse phasers...
disruptor beams were replaced by phaser beams...
different warp core and more decks...
changed torpedo tubes and new torpedo configuration

cleaned the whole interior of Klingon dirt, blood, and wine.....

a complete systems overhaul....

Ablative armor...

I think it's fun if you edit ships. It is so fun!!!

I've moddified a Starbase to be used as an Hospital. The whole base is one big hospital.

I leave the modifications to Jim. I just like blowing stuff up...Though on my next ship, the Captain's wife might have to install a shiney pole in the bedroom...
