Ok here's a short How To for posting pictures into your posts.

Step 1:

Find the picture you want to post, right click on the picture and click Properties as seen below:

Step 2:

Highlight the address to the .JPG or .GIF file (That's the picture):

Step 3:

Right click ontop of the highlighted JPG address and click Copy:

Step 4:

Come back to STARTREKFANS.NET, type out your posting and insert the picture in the place you want it by using the IMG button. Be sure to remove the HTML:// that is already inserted in the IMG box, if you don't your picture won't display properly.:

That should do it as long as you have the correct address for the JPG/GIF file.

Can you post a pic from your hard drive? and if so how?
VaBeachGuy
You would have to have it uploaded on the internet to post it online. If it you can't find a free service that works (Geocities doesn't always work right) you can send the picture to me in e-mail and I'll put it on our server.

You might also try Angelfire as a host.

I just use the Print screen button on the keyboard. Then open MS Paint and paste the picture into it and edit it down to a smaller, postable size.

I have just recently gotten a nice program called "SnagIt" though that does screen captures as well.

What does it mean when it says that you cannot post dynamic images in the image tags? Thats what I got when I tried to put a picture on my signature.
