HRH The KING 0 Posted June 6, 2005 Generally thought to be the TNG episode that attempted to deal with the "gay" issue. In fact it was dealt with far better by DS9 with Dax and "her" former partner. Take away the gimmick it wasn't a very good episode because there were clearly male/female genders in the species in question. Rating =
youbroughtheryouRiker 2 Posted January 30, 2008 2. This could have been about anything from homosexuality, to extremely unusual fetishisms, to learning disabilities, really if you stretch it far enough. Riker's romance was unbelievable, from both ends. Badly written story, and the other aliens weren't that believable either. The null space substory was actually more interesting.
