This was the first episode where Chief O'Brien was mentioned by name.

Pretty good concept of "messing with nature" to produce children who are so advanced that their own immune systems can kill others.

I feel this episode would have been better (like many of the Pulaski episodes) if it were Dr. Crusher, because I would have felt more concern for her than I did with Dr. Pulaski who I just did not like.

Rating = 0, with Beverley Crusher, it would have got a higher rating.

dopy!

I never like Dr Pulaski. and I twas a shame that she was an almost main character in this.

I must admit, it was an alright and intruigin story line, but not played out very well

3. As much as I prefer Beverly Crusher, Pulaski doesn't bother me all that much. Good 2-part mystery. What caused it, and how do we treat it. Enjoyed the irony of it being the transporter that was needed, given Pulaski's fear of using it. So, a high 3, but still a 3.
