While visiting a planet that is still pre-warp, Malcolm accidentally leaves his communicator. Archer and Malcolm have no other choice than going back to get it, only getting it back may be hard than they had expected.

“The Communicator” is an episode that deals with leaving advanced technology in a primitive world and what threat that may cause. This planet hasn’t even split the atom and here they have a communicator? What’s to be done? This episode is really fantastic because they have to rely on instinct and smarts to figure a way to get out of this mess.

**** ½ out of *****
