  1. I see, what you need is a tag like this: <a href="yourpage.html" target="mainFrame">Link Text</a> Try that!
  2. I use FrontPage for simpler stuff (like tables, formatting, etc.) I use Dreamweaver for complex stuff, or pages that have fancy coding that FrontPage doesn't understand. I use EditPlus (a powerful color-coding text editor) for the actual coding (like PHP, etc.) I can't think of any books off the top of my head, sorry.
  3. Here's how to do it: Right click on the page - and go down to the way bottom of the menu, and click on "Page Properties..." Then in the dialog that pops up, click on the "Background color:" box and you can select the background color. (You can also type in the hexadecimal value, like "#FFFFFF" = white) Hope that helps!
  4. Sorry to see you go, RC, hope you can still come around from time to time! <_<
  5. Good one, B) , although it is really blurry - as all good hoax pictues are! B)
  6. Yes, I would agree - fractals are incredibly cool! Here's a few fractal links: The Fractal Webring Ultra Fractal Program Wikipedia : Fractal
  7. Well, actually, there is a story to my name, like many others. Xeroc was supposed to be the leader of an ancient species of aliens called the Xenophons (It means foreign-sounds if you're looking at the roots, and were so named because their language was unlike anything before known) who ruled 3/4 of the entire universe around 8 billion years ago. They then disappeared mysteriously into thin space, never to be seen again. Naturally, the other species still in existence, after being oppressed for so long, destroyed all records of the Xenophons, leaving them only as myth... This story is part of some books or a series that I'm planning to write. Eventually.
  8. I would say that I really do like some of the new board features! This is probably the best board that I've ever visited!
  9. I agree, I try to only respond if I have something to say, and then I will often make sure it's good before I do! And, yes, Alterego, that happens too!
  10. Welcome Back - and hope you get an internet connected computer soon!
  11. Good luck and hope you have some free time!
  12. Yes, it's been a long time. Probably too long, but you have to roll with the challenges life gives you. Thanks everyone for welcoming me back!
  13. Just an update as of today: Spirit has been running 366 days, and Opportunity has been running 346 days! (martian days) This is, of course, an amazing accomplishment, as these rovers were only expected to last about 90 days! The home page of the rovers, and many descriptions of what exactly they've been up to this past year, is here: Mars Exploration Rover Mission: Home
  14. Maybe it's just me, but it seems as if we have a lot of people returning! (Me included!) Welcome Back!
  15. I used to come here very often, but couldn't recently because I was incredibly busy. You might remember I used to be the moderator of both Science & Technology and this Off-Topic Board, but had to retire due to my intense schedule. Well, I have found some extra time in my schedule and I believe I can return to this awesome forum of StarTrekFans.net! Unfortunately, I'm still quite busy, so I won't be posting all that much but I will be glad to share my thoughts or help out from time to time!
