  1. I had mix experience. The visuals mainly turned me off. And a lot of the story, but I loved seeing the actors in the rolls again.
  2. I saw it the day it came out. Besides the fact that Stewart looks the same still as he always had, I thought it was pretty good minus the horrible make up jobs.
  3. While interesting I got to agree with gul. Althought I am still angry about where they took the movies. Still say it should have went with a movie of Star Trek: Titan, then use that to launch a new tv series. I been saying for it years...
  4. Sorry for not posting for a while, I have a busy job now. I am happy people still come here, had no clue about the whole FB community move. I kinda feel from all social talking of massage boards and what not when I got into MMO's. I do say I miss it, and I really do not get into facebook conversations. I am happy even thought the site isn't as active as it once was it is still a place to go to when one has time to. I remember when I first came here as a teen, and now I am all grown, and it is still here. If nothing else I think it should be kept up as an important part of Star Trek community history. As far as ways to make it more active having a hot and active youtube page could bring potential new people to the site.
  5. I have yet to see it. Is it worth the time of picking up and watching? I was uninpressed with the first one for a few reasons so it made me a bit iffy on seeing the 2nd one. Also the fact that it took me so long to see the first one to begin with.
  6. Fan Fiction is non-cannon stories fans right about characters in a universe to further expand this universe. Because almost all of these are unofficial, they are usually considered non-cannon what if, let’s say this happened kinda of things. They are great, well some are, some are horrible, horrifying, and weird. They range in rating from G to extremely graphic Nc-17. The more shades of grey that a character has, the more people seem to want to write fan fic about them. For example Lore, we know so little really about him, so there is a wide world about how he came to be, what he did, and what made him the android he is today. Thank you for leaving out the more colorful adjectives you could have used to describe him. Yes lets all pretend I went on about how sexy Lore is for about a hour and move on LOL.
  7. E-Bay may also help, and also be a means of replacing broken, and lost ones.
  8. I don't remember you, but it is nice that more people are rediscovering this place besides me.
  9. Lol if it wasn't for copyright issues on youtube, I would make the funiest video of what I see every time I watch Nemesis now.

  11. There are many I wish I could read again but thanks to sites going down I can't.
  12. I check out the main page often, but I don't log in unless I have something to say. I just wish there was more Star Trek to discuss! Yeah you I remember when I used to come here. I know there is a limited ammount of cannon type stuff now a days with only 2 movies coming out, and no current series going on. But there are still things to dicuss! Example the Storylines being revisited and made threw STO althought frankly I would not recommend playing it due to PWI owning it, and the horrible way they run games. Also there are a few new films that have Star Trek actors in it. And it is always items to be discussed about the old stuff, or the new stuff the actors are doing. But did something happen to the site I was looking and it seems that most of the people last posted in 09?
  13. I haven't been back for a long time due to forgetting my login. I wanted to know how active the site is, there are lots that I no longer see, which I get. I wanted to know if there are still people here keeping this place that used to make me so happy alive?
  14. LOL I am not going to bash Enterprise episodes, even if it can be easy. Not going to do the same to those odd number Trek movies, because we all know there is that weird issue that the odd ones tend to be bad. Instead I will go woth a even one, that while I like, I have to say it did kinda suck. Star Trek Nemesis, I say this because I saw this opening day. When I heard 1 that Brent was helping write it I was excited. When I heard Data would die I cried. I finally see the movie, and it was uninpressive. It ignored preveriously canon information, and over all just left a bad taste in my mouth. Also now that I have seen the last Batman movie, now I just can't watch it without laughing so hard. All I hear when Shinzon is talking to Picard, all I hear is his horrid Bane voice.
  15. Hay all, I started playing Star Trek Online after the company pwi aquired them, and it become free to play. I wanted to know if anyone plays it? It is pretty fun, althought I do not know if I will be staying on it due to my issue with the company, and how it has handled it's data, and it's customers due to huge blunders on other games. But wanted to know your guys thoughts?
