trekzone 0 Posted December 5, 2003 okies, i need some feedback on my ideas for my fan fiction....also tell me if your to read......id love some feedback #401 - Premiere, introduce characters and plot #403 - Introduce Maquis, and the ultimate leaders of the plot to destroy the Fed #404 - We find the device being created to destroy the Fed #405 - The captain time travels, sees his dead wife #406 - The Poseidons run of bad luck continues against a far superiour enemy #407 - We learn that the device is on its way #408 - Terrorist bombings with a Fed sig on a Klingon planet threaten to start a war #409 - Mystery surrounds 45 ship destructions #410 - The captain and Tactical officer are mistakenly arrestted and set to die #411 - The ops officer (ensign, female) is haunted by images of her father #412 - A prototype probe comes out of sub-space and destroys the Martian colony #413 - The Borg arrive near Earth #414 - The XO is seriously wounded #415 - The XO is incapacitated in sickbay, meanwhile: The prototype probe sheds light on some facts #416 - The Poseidon set off to an unexplored area of space #417 - The prototype probe, which crash landed almost intact, self-destructs after more investigation #418 - Three other probes are found, drifting in space...the XO continues to deteriorate #419 - The cardassians seal their borders again #420 - Time travel somewhere #421 - Starfleet, now in crisis mode, conveins to discuss the seriousness #422 - The Poseidon reach the unexplored area of space, the XO is on his last legs #423 - A mysterious alien grants the XO a new lease on life #424 - The Vorhosth show themselves to the crew #425 - The XO grows weaker - the new treatment aint workin' #426 - The Borg arrive to assist the Poseidon.....the XO dies and a bigger probe is launched and attacks Earth. if you want specific episode information, post here - or see TREKZONE.org : Poseidon : Synopses. Mike 5 Posted December 5, 2003 I voted 'A Good Balance'.. Seems like a good outline to base a story on..I'm not too good of a story crtic..But I like the outline. From just reading this outline it seems to be a good balance of action and story telling. trekzone 0 Posted December 6, 2003 (edited) ok!!!! news release: POSEIDON season 2 ender is a shocker.According to TREKZONE.org the season 1 ender will include the ultimate demise of the Executive Officer (first officer), which is a carry - on from an earlier season episode. And now, in a continuation to the story-arc of the first season, Captain Miller will reportedly be the next one to go down. The story arc begins with the premiere episode, and over the first two seasons we'll learn about a plot to destroy the entire Federation. The leaders of this plot are reportedly the Vorhsoth, a continuation from Voyager: Elite Force, the blockbuster game. Captain Jean-Luc Picard 1 Posted December 6, 2003 I Recommend.....(extrapolate) 1. Try not to let this become too much like the Xindi-arc. Similarities are A OK, just try and keep the plot unique. 2. Don't let every episode be "To Be Continued..." Open-ended endings, story arcs, and 2-parters are cool, just don't have cliffhangers every episode. 3. This wasn't in your post, but you told me that there'd be something like "45" prototype ships. This doesn't seem realistic, as Starfleet usually comes out with one ship design at a time. If it were, say, "5" prototypes, that'd be more realistic. :blink: 4. Finally, you said Posiedon is an Akira-class ship varriant, and that if it went into production, it'd become it's own class. This is cool, as we've seen other ships, like the Sqouze-class (spelling?) being an off-shoot of the Miranda-class. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

We'll see about the number of prototypes The Xindi-arc.....it is based :blink: but, put it this way: Some aliens are going to destroy the Federation, if we dont find them and stop them. also, theres going to be a link to the premiere episode in the season 2 finale. Captain Bolivar 0 Posted December 6, 2003 Well now that I know what each episode is about I don't need to read them. jk! Your synopsis things do give away a little to much, such as the XO dying. Secondly, why XO, why not COMMANDER. I had no clue who you were talking about at first. Other than that its all good stuff. I think I may have thought up what my fan fic will be about. Unlike yours I think mine will be more like a mini series of maybe 4 eps. Once it's complete I suppose I could then do something to run along side yours as you proposed earlier. I'm still not sure tho... anywho, its nice to see you have the entire season planned out before hand so that you don't run into problems half way thru!
